So, I just wanted to make sure that Lizzy understands about going to the school that she is choosing. Look into it more in-depth. Look at the pass rates for the NCLEX exam from that particular school. If it's the one that I think it is, the pass rate for the NCLEX-RN is like 81% and NCLEX-PN is around 98%. So it depends on whether she wants to be an LPN or RN in the end. I would highly suggest that she go to a 4-year school and get her BSN, which would open up the jobs a bit more for her and usually have a higher pass rate. But that's just my opinion. When it comes to university stuff and helping people plan for it, I enjoy doing the research and helping along. So reach out if you want some tips from someone who has gone through their bachelors and is currently working on their masters and will soon start a PhD!

Lizzie should definitely look into what school is best for her career, following your boyfriend is nice but long distance also is possible.

Just know that nursing school is a very tough program and I know you are an adult but please just focus on finishing school before anything serious happens between you and this guy. My mom was pregnant during nursing school with my brother and it was tough for her that she almost quit.

Doing an LPN to RN bridge program is such a smart thing to do when wanting to be a nurse. You can have a more qualified job (LPN) while going through the rest of school so you make more $$ for the same hours (compared to somewhere like Starbucks like a lot of students work at during school!) and a lot of times your employer will assist with paying for the furthering of your education to your RN. I would research into it and think about it :)

I just lost my kitty, Gracie July of this year she had kidney disease for the last year then ultimately had a stroke. She passed at 20 years old! Driving 1 hr to and from work sounds easier than one thinks. You also need to factor in gas costs/mileage and time spent driving vs how much will be made from work. Good luck!!!
