This is a very charming city and easy to get to, I hope I can return to visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

Hi Rok, Thanks so much for doing all this beautiful videos, they are all very beautiful and well made. You explained so well and so helpful. Can you please let me know what is the best way to go to Potojne Cave from Ljubljana City centre please. We are visiting Slovenia and will will stay Ljubljana. Any cheap hotel recommendations too? Thanks

Thanks. Glad it is helpful. Regarding a trip from Ljubljana to Postojna Cave you can take a bus or a train, but than you will need to do an approximately 25-minute walk to the Postojna Cave Park. More convenient option is to book a day trip from Ljubljana, that takes you straight to the cave and then to the Predjama castle like this one www.getyourguide.com/ljubljana-l318/postojna-cave-predjama-castle-from-ljubljana-t97692/?partner_id=B14VVAZ&placement=content-middle. Can't wait for Slovenia to re-open for American tourist, I would love to cross the border from Croatia, do you have any leak when they might open?

No official info yet. Probably it will happen very soon as it is expected that by the next week most COVID restrictions in Slovenia will be lifted. But in any case, by July 1st entire EU will use COVID passports and then once you enter any EU state, travel within EU countries will get much easier. Me too!!! I was planning on buying a day trip from Zagreb to Slovenia. So USA citizens cannot enter ? I am wondering then why the tour agencies are selling this type of tours? .

What are the relative merits of a Ljubljana Tourist Card versus the Urbana card?

Thanks for asking. Urbana card is essentaly prepaid city card where you put your credit and is than used for public transport, parking, ect. Tourist card gives you access to tourist attractions.
