The jewel in North Wales's crown!, what a wonderful place Llandudno is. So fortunate to live so close on Merseyside to be able visit and holiday there frequently. Thank you for that brilliant video of a much loved place...♥

Just turned 50 and I've been back to Llandudno almost every year (taking as many people with me as possible) since I was a child of 4. It's like a second home to me, and this video was beautiful - thank you to the very talented producer for reminding me just how much I love the place - especially the Great Orme. 😊😊

Hello David, thank you so much for your kind reply and thank you so much for the link, I am really made up as they say. No more endless hours searching the web. I watched your Llandudno Summer 2016 video as well last night and the video opens with that song. Once again a big thanks, we are very fortunate to have people like yourself with a talent to produce such lovely material and take the trouble to post it up on You Tube for others to enjoy. Everyone has their own skills and talents but not everyone can produce material such as yours. Have a great weekend and keep up the great work. Kind Regards

Thanks for this what a beautiful tribute to Llandudno. Llandudno has always been breathtaking in addition most of my families histories are linked to that spectacular part of North Wales My great grand father was born there, he and his family were always there, my own grand parents spent their honeymoon there, then they always had holidays there with my mother and her brother. My mother courted my father in Llandudno they were married there 47 yrs ago tomorrow, as they were partly living in Llandudno at the time. I was born in the Summer of 75 the first place I saw aged 2wks was Llandudno and then I spent my entire childhood and adolescence there every holiday Easter Wit in the Summer the whole three months and every weekend of the year october holidays and xmas and New Year,In fact we were hardly ever at home. I remember how vibrant it was when my friends and I use to spend the nights in the summer at John Simons fun fair where B&Q now stands. I have visted Llandudno every weekend up until 2011. Haulfre Gardens is beautiful and the views from the very top of invalid walk are spectacular over looking the West shore, and were wonderfully mystical especially Gogarth Abbey Hotel which was then still standing in my opinion, it isn't the same since they demolished it, I realise it was in a dreadful state of disrepair, however, the Penmorfa hotel was a gothic landmark of Llandudno not only that it's structure complemented the rugged surroundings behind it . I am always surprised at how many people who either holiday or day trip to Llandudno don't even seem to know the West shore exists, missing out on all those magnificent sunsets over conwy estuary . Some visitors don't even go through Marine Drive. At one time near the summit of the Great Orme, there was the rectory tea gardens and the view opposite the grave yard looking across at the Irish sea was in my humble opinion beyond spectacular, not too mention, the panoramas from the summit aka the original Captain 's table, where the playground is, just another view more spectacular than the view from marine drive, couple that with the tramway and the views from the cable cars. Yes Llandudno is truly unique,Conwy council should appreciate this and reinstate the sands to the North Shore. I often tell people how beautiful the North Shore sands were, I remember aged 5 in 1980, back in the days of the long donkey rides. I was standing on the roof of our hotel actually leaning over the side with my best friend and the view was a golden arc of sand right past the Washington, it was perfect, now people I know just believe it is a quarry mess, truly tragic Thanks for allowing me to reminisce , your video, is exceptionally important to remind people of Llandudno 's special beauty. In addition, although South Wales and Mid Wales are also very beautiful North Wales itself is truly a magnificent place, totally unique.

Beautiful portrayal of Llandudno, just wish you had shown more of the west shore area which in my opinion is more breathtaking and less touristy than the north shore. I love my home town! Always have, always will. She is the Queen of Welsh resorts followed closely by Barmouth. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I enjoyed making it. I was there for a few days taking stills and I found myself with a day off and took the footage on a whim. I had three cameras with me at the time, all Nikon's, but none a recognised video camera. I think I captured this footage on either a D750 or D500. Keep safe.

Thanks for the film. I also enjoy spending time in and around Llandudno. If anyone has got 4 to 5 hours to spare and is full of energy then why not do what I did last year and walk all the way around the Great Orme's Head, starting at the Pier side of the Orme and finishing at West Beach on the far side, I thoroughly enjoyed the walk as it is peaceful and full of nice views from every corner that you walk around.

Hello David, I absolutely love your Llandudno the movie video and watch it quite a lot especially at this time as we have all been in lockdown. Anyhow I have searched and searched to try and find the track with the female singer that switches in at the point in your video where you dub a subtitle “ a collie doing what a collie does best.....staring” and continues till the video finishes. The music acknowledgement says CMA and I hear the track on a CMA album but not the version with the female singer singing softly as the video begins to draw to a close. It’s a while since you did the video but do you recall the track and the singer cos I can’t find it anywhere. Many thanks for a lot of enjoyment. 👍
