@takewhole He was a damn good boxer. First of the modern British fighters to make some noise internationally. He won the undisputed title at a time when there weren't tons of belts like there is now, Beat an established champ like Curry when Curry was touted as the next Ray Leonard. And he pretty much gave the welterweight division a serious and exciting division that was deep in talent and fighter willing to face each other. Not like now.

@takewhole Ha, You can''t know much about boxing then, Honeyghan was the man when he beat Donald Curry, supposedly the best fighter in the world pound for pound at the time. Lloyd whipped him but good and made some tremendous defences of his titles including the fastest world championship knockout of all time, against Gene Hatcher in just 42 seconds. Take my word for it, he was one hell of a champion.
