The Slightly Shambolic Shuffles are back! This time we are at the 2021 Festival of the Unexceptional at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire. In this final part, we try to wrap things up, and the quality is even worse than ever before...
Be prepared for terrible stabilisation and focus, a Hyundai X2 Pony formerly owned by Amber from the driven247 channel, a walk down the entire site just to film a Peugeot 106 XN Graduate, interruptions of Mr Richardson from furiousdriving, Mr Seabrook from HubNut and Mr Langstaff from Maverick Motors, Health and Safety nightmares, a concours winning Proton and really not much of any interest at all. Nothing untoward, then!
As an independent vehicle consultant, I take potential buyers through the whole car buying process from choosing a make and model to a vehicle handover and road tax. In addition to information on this service, I also have a selection of written and video reviews of cars that I have owned, hired, borrowed or have somehow come into my possession. Please use the Contact Me page on my website to get in touch, visit my Facebook page for latest updates and share this video if you like it! Thank you for watching.

Oh yes, sir! I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavalier Coupé was one of the rarest cars there.... With the earliest Clio being over 30 years old, they definitely are worthy of being at the show, but it is still strange to think about them as classics in a way, isn't it?

@@lloydvehicleconsulting Renault have such a heritage of superb small cars the R5 and R4 especially both in early guises, pity they succumb to the demon rust as did my first ever car a '78 R5, I think with so many of the 90s era stuff they don't seem to rot as bad, so early Clios are still a bit more commonplace

Yes, the car park was almost entirely full of modern cars, so it wasn't really the spirit of the show, and a few really rare cars like a Fiat Argenta left before I had a chance to get to them, but I filmed virtually everything else.

I did say that we filmed your car, sir, and indeed we got round to it in the end! Some people who brought R3 Rover 200s got put in the modern car park, hence why there weren't more in the unexceptional parking. Didn't see the fire extinguisher, interesting detail!

26:20 Oh hello, there is my car! Thank you for giving it a brief spotlight lol Another little nugget for you, (with you mentioning the wheel trims) the 214S, unlike all the other (lower) R8 models has 13" wheels rather than the standard 14" on the next up Si. Makes life without power steering noticabley easier, although not so easy to find correct wheel trims!
@lloydvehicleconsulting
@lloydvehicleconsulting 2 жыл бұрын
I wonder if those hubcaps were off the Rover Metro of the era? It must be a problem to find replacements if they are unique to the 214S. We certainly have experienced an awful lot of cars recently on the channel without power steering!

Ooh Citroen Visa! 😍 I wouldn't mind one of those, they have the right balance of quirkiness and sensible Peugeot engineering for my tastes. Sold up to 1988 with only the forbidden fuel option after the AX was launched.

The majority of cars in Part One and Three to Six were not in the Concours De L'Ordinaire. This was only the cars featured in Part Two, with the exception of the 106. The ones close to the house in the end of Part Six had been chosen by the judges to receive awards, and the final three were in that small group with the Proton, which was eventually chosen as the winner. If you knew the real amount of money which KZfaq pays for videos like this, then you wouldn't believe it...
