You forgot to check piston ring end gap. But i assume its already correct from factory. Also you forgot to show us how to properly do the thrust bearings and which direction they go in.

can i ask what the big holes in the block it deep not the where the piston and the boits is that where the oil goes back to the sump

Hey mate pretty sure it is the same. The 2L, 3L , 5L and 5LE are all pretty much the same engine with more capacity as the generation of the engine goes up eg.2L 2.2l, 3L 2.8l, 5L 3l
