I rebuild a Inverto 412 LNC (2 outputs) to a external input for a 25MHz TCXO (Temperature Compensated X Oscillator) and one IF (Intermediate Frequency) output for the 10489,5MHz that is used on the QO100 26°East Satellite. This is needed to receive a small signal stable on this HAM Radio operators satellite. If you use the original oscillator with 25MHz this is well made for the video signals on near all satellites because they are very wide in bandwidth and can detect (lock) well good with your satellite receiver. The internal multiplier IC multiples the 25MHz clock from external by 390 times. This made a LO (Local Oscillator) frequency from about 9750MHz. This will be mixed with the income antenna frequency from 10489,5MHz - 9750MHz = 739,5MHz is the IF. This 739,5MHz can received now with a SDR-stick (like the nooelec) and decode the signals on this satellite. 13Volt are required for vertical polarization and the supply for this radio signals from the satellite.
On the web site amsat-dl.org/t... you can see more details for receiving the satellite.
