Riding a very new to me Kunkelspass today, thanks do some tips from Barbara, who I met the day before on the Klausenpass. It's a melow day, with tons of hairpin roads, some nice food and good, good weather. A small moto paradise arises behind the mountain roads and I can finally see what I've been missing since 2019, the San Bernardino brings back memories for sure! As I'm slowly entering my last final days in Swiss, I'm baffled by how fast these past weeks have flown by.
A two month trip to remember for ever - August 19th 'till October 15th. Three years ago I rode the France Alps with my Monster821 and now I'm back (for more)!

This video was great fun again - thank you very much, Leonoor! Great shots from the crazy Splügen hairpins!! The Kunkels Pass is new to me. I'm often out and about down in the valley, but I didn't realise that there was such a cool route up there. Let's see if I can ride it this summer. Of course, I also have a story about the Splügen *g* In 2003 or 2004 or so, I was travelling there on my Supermoto - from Chiavenna up to the pass. At night in the rain. The headlight was ... well, model year 2002. An Ikea tea light would have been brighter. The KTM vibrated so much that I kept losing the screw from the gear lever - and then the gear lever. No problem during the day - I always had spare bolts with me. But at night, in one of those crazy hairpin bends in the rock face on the Splügen - that was rather unrelaxing. Somehow, in the dim light of my mobile phone, I was still able to find the gear lever. It was not far from the abyss. WHAT an adventure *g* This summer I will be taking a portrait of the Splügen. With the e-motorbike, without the gear lever. Better, hm? ;-) Looking forward to the next episodes!!

Kunkelpass, die moet ik ook onthouden, geweldig! Fantastische footage weer, de dronebeelden op de Splügen zijn echt adembenemend. En tot slot dat koude biertje na een dag lang sturen... kippevel! ik kijk uit naar de volgende episode. "Keep on going".... en stiekum hoop ik je per ongeluk eens te zien rijden in onze haarlemmermeerpolder ;)

Just amazing, Leonoor. Love this episode very much. I was with you every meter, know the passes very well, too.❤ I'm happy you enjoyed the Kunkelspass. Since March unfortunatelly you can't get a daily permit any longer. There were some accidents and sometimes stupid drivers, so, the local goverment decided this. You're lucky, to get there. Next time you'll go to S.B., don't miss the Via Mala on this way, a nice gorge.🥰👍

Thank you for the quality content and the inspiration. I am starting my Swiss “cols” passes from the iconic ones to the lesser known mid altitude ones. Started in Valais then Simplon and then a bunch of the epic ones in June … resuming the saga in October when it’s quieter! Keep posting!

Have fun to start with! Swiss is beautiful everywhere you go. Make sure to keep an eye on speedlimits as fines can run up quickly (user experience here). You'll love it!

I hear you, then maybe keep out some of the passes that have more hairpins? Grimsel is maybe a good one to do on the Furka side because the hairpins are a bit more wide? If that is no issue then continue to the next
