This virus has been awful. It’s all I’ve seen in patients in the hospital since October. You can develop an underlying bacterial infection from a virus and that’s when you need antibiotics. So glad you two are better. I know how rough it is. ❤

@@BigGuyAppetite my daughter n law is RN at Emergency room. Here in South Georgia, she said A terrible virus was going around one that Drs hadn't seen like it. People were sick over 2 weeks. I'm so glad you got better, and Mama Dove.🕊, being sick past 5 or 6 days gets to really being, exhausting. I know you know this, Big Guy, but you are one lucky guy to have a mom who can cook like your mama does. I mean, the aromas coming from that kitchen must be pure love. Welcome to heaven when you're in a home where someone can cook up a storm. It's top 5 greatest things in the world for me. I've never seen someone cook raw hamburger in a tortilla, but it definitely looks like it tastes absolutely amazing! Gonna try this one. :)

This virus is no joke. I was sick for a little over 2 weeks with it. I had absolutely no appetite and ended up loosing 25lbs because I wasn’t eating. So glad that you and Mama are feeling better. ❤

Yes we had the influenza A! It’s rough! Took my 6 year old 4 days with fever and one week no appetite😕 finally starting to feel better! 🙏 thank God! Praying you start feeling better!!

Nate my son also got this respiratory/ virus and 3 weeks later he still had a really bad cough. He was put on an inhaler at 7 years old and a medicated face mask( I forgot what it's called )to open his lungs. As parents we felt so bad for him, and knew he probably caught it from public school. It sucks when you are unable to prevent things like that. Every single thing you explained in this video where the exact symptoms my son had. And all the same medication was prescribed for him. As always @Mama Appetite recipe looks amazing. I told my hubby we are making these next week! Great idea 💡 and less mess. Haha love it. ❤ I'm going to make homemade Pico de Gallo for them as well. Love and miss you Nate and Mama. 💋

My brother is in ICU on a ventilator he's only 46 years old. He had Peri Influenza and Pneumonia. He was on a Zpack for 2 weeks prior. He's lucky to be alive and is still in critical condition. He's slowly improving and hopefully by next week they can remove the ventilator. Glad you're feeling better. Take care of yourself! Tacos look Amazing!!

Yes Nate I woke up one night shaking so bad with 103.0 fever that literally my teeth were shattering together. Omg the heat my body was throwing off, yet i was freezing. Horrible cough and felt so weak and tired. This went on for a week. Finally got an inhaler , prednisone and a zpack antibiotic from urgent care. Not the vid or flu but all those meds helped. After about 3 weeks I finally started to feel better. Never had such a high fever as an adult, it was horrible. Please hang in there and just keep resting, you and mama. Now im 5 weeks post whateva it was lol and I still cough up phlegm but feel sooooooo much better. Could not believe that I could feel so rotten for sooooo long. Oh also rub vicks on your chest, that helps. Didn't eat for 2 weeks either. Down 10 lbs but soup tasted like filet and lobster lmbo. Praying for you and mama so that you have a full recovery soooooon. Love you. ❤️ 🥰💗💓💖💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have never seen anyone else who makes their tacos like my family LOL the only difference is we put ours in the oven for 15-20 minutes and the last couple minutes we put in a slice of cheddar. We also add mayo to the lettuce..

Nate, I had the SAME thing at the end of September 2022. I was sick for 2.5 weeks and I was so sure it was C19 because of the symptoms, but like 6 tests, it was not and not the flu, was tested for that too. It was the most sick I’ve been. Slept for days, fever, chills, a horrible cough and horrible chest congestion. I feel you. The doctors said it was some other virus that’s going around that they aren’t sure what it is. You should be feeling better in no time. Prayers for you. ❤️

Welcome back. We missed you. Yes we got sick. We had the C in September and in November the three of us got this flu. Yes it felt worse than the C It lasted two weeks before we started to feel better. Happy to know you and Mama are feeling better love you 😘 ❤️😘❤️

I literally Court covid-19 about a year ago and I'm going through covid-19 again as we speak I also got influenza in between both. I'm doing better now I'm just taking care of myself and healing and I'm glad to see you're up and eating it seems like now the second time around with my covid-19 the symptoms are a little easier to manage with so I hope I have a recovery faster plus I'm quadruple vaccinated all these illnesses is just terrible I can't wait till we get over this. I'm happy to see you're doing better

Hello from Canada 🇨🇦❤ so glad to hear your feeling better ( yes c19 wasn’t anything like this, all my kids an I got both it was influenza/ RVS and ours was back and forth since October 🤯, “ yes and the hospitals would say it’s viral” my daughter who’s 9 months her heart rate was 203!!! And then turned to croup!! It was awful!!

l survived lockdown and cov19, got this and was man down for 2 months, got bronchial pnuemonia on top of diabetes. Hope your Mom didnt get it. Glad you are now better

BGA, when I was seriously sick a while back the only, only thing that helped me, was seagrams ginger-ale. it worked wonders on me and my system and I felt so much better in 2 ½ days, instead of 4-5. you've got to try it.

My 13 month old and I just got over a sickness hers lasted 11 days while I had to eventually go on antibiotics because I ended up with a sinus infection as well ….so glad we and you are better !!

Yes I was so sick with a bad cough and couldn't breath it was bad. I'm in Dallas TX and it's bad here. I'm glad you are feeling a lot better may God bless you and your family

I’ve got sick recently & it’s been like 3 days straight.. Runny nose, it hurts when I cough plus eating solid foods makes me nauseous too. Only soups & Gatorade. Glad your doing good bro! Told my girl about you & now she follows you. 🤙🏻

YAY you're back!!! I have missed you so much. Mama too! Hot pot would probably be good for you! I find when I'm not feeling well if I eat spicy foods I feel better.
