I spent this morning doing the same thing. I jokingly described it to my wife as "getting loaded." I don't think we ever stop adding/subtracting from the RV packing list. Every trip is different, and we're always learning what works and what doesn't. Our first camp out this year is going to be in a rig that's still semi-winterized. The weather is still occasionally freezing overnight where we're going, but when a total solar eclipse passes nearby it's too good to pass up.

My pots/pans, silverware included spatulas, bowls/plates. Linens. Other eventua as far as dish washing, cleaning products, personal products and a few other thing you will gather as you go. We traided in and has the former trailer cleared out. We went to Jax to Panama city. They were impressed with the condition of our former camper. That is when we learned what not to keep. We had totes in the truck for essentials from coffee maker to socks

Most borrowed items are a can opener or a wine screw. Most recently was sticks ( the good ones) for marshmallows.❤ I'm looking forward to your cooking videos.

I do the same thing pick up the rv bring it to the house and put it in the rv. It is so easy for us to do now. Makeup the bed, clean the bathroom. It’s easy for me, when I get to the campsite open my slides and clean the living room and kitchen. 👍🏼 Happy Camping!

LOL! I knew someone would make a comment about your opening music selection. 🤣🤣"To each his or her own...", huh! Anyway, I thought it was refreshing, upbeat and hip. I can relate to trying to outfit your RV and not trying to overpack it. Seems like you have a good plan with starting with keeping things simple and an initial shake-down trip. Are you planning a boondock or a developed campground shakedown trip? Thanks for taking us along.

Thinking about keeping our motorhome as a homebase somewhere in Arizona or Texas or Florida and then buying aTravato 59GL to travel in the summer. Your video is helping us see the ins and outs of van living.

I swear the hardest part is deciding what to keep in or not. We full timed in our class A for about 6 months while having a house built, at first it was we need XYZ then after some time, you realize what you really need, because as you know you don't really want to fill it with stuff that you're just hauling around and not using. Can't wait to hear about the first trip.

Maybe could have got a full or queen mattress pad, then cut it. We're still using a 12 year old 'memory foam' topper from costco, around 3" thick, those help any mattress.

I've been binge watching your Travato videos (going back to watch all the others!!) and wondered - I know you figured out the battery/heater issue - but you also mention a water leak?? Just subscribed! ..I must admit, yours is the neatest looking storage unit I've honestly Ever seen. Mine were So full, all the way up to the top! And I love the look of your RV, that wood is Awesome! I Really want an RV, looking at Class C's, but will look up your unit because B's and B+ give Better gas mileage! Wondering if it has a full or Wet bath, does it have a double door fridge, and how many does it sleep? 👍
