I'm sure you've learned this, but if you back up so the cement parking stop is under your van you won't have to step over it. I'm glad I found your channel. Your rig is absolutely beautiful. All the rest of us mom's love that you find water for your mama. I also must have water where I camp.

Very nice Campsite RV Jedeye!!!! Those National Forests are just stunning! And loved the "Long Format"! I was delighted to see that “Class A” in your video! ::: fist the air ::: I looked up Site: 008 at Halfway Flat Campground and it’s plenty long for a large motor coach, but my concern would be with the roads leading into and out of that site. That bridge certainly didn’t seem rated for over 22K lbs! So, you just run your generator when you want to use electricity? How does your refrigerator stay cold? Inquiring minds want to know! ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Brakes! ::: 🚌🚌🚌

The roads in are tough and narrow, but a Class A did make it through. As for electric, my fridge can run on propane/battery/or electric, I ran it off of propane when I was there🤓

Looks like a nice spot, but the highway on the other side of the river is definitely a negative. There are lots of National Forest campgrounds in Washington that are no where near a major highway. Believe it or not Highway 410 is a major highway. Personally I would have chosen a campground a lot farther from the highway. The area around Mt. Adams is really beautiful and not that much farther than where you went. Chinook pass, which you went over is a really pretty place. You need to do a couple of things. 1. Buy a thermometer. and 2) Get some actual physical maps. A Delorme road atlas for Washington state would be $30 well spent. One other piece of advice. Unless you really like hot weather, don't go east of the mountains in summer. You were on the east side when you went over Chinook Pass. One last comment, you need to do more forest road driving. That road wasn't as rough as my driveway.

Hey there David! Great seeing another Class B channel in the PNW. We're up in Lake Stevens and have a Solis (59PX) also in the cool ceramic granite. It's nice to see local content creators like yourself. Hang in there and maybe we'll see ya out there someday. It's tough cracking the KZfaq algorithm. More content. Short content. (shorts and reels). Not to seem critical, but the "Lets DO THISSS!!! Woooo!!!" scream is a bit over the top.

Chicken looked great! Would you share your go to spicy Asian marinade? Good idea about keeping a portable water storage option. There are some collapsible ones too. We have one of those blue rectangular ones that I think is five gallons. It stays upright behind the driver’s seat. We have a “water thief” thing that allows us to attach a hose to a non-threaded spigot for those less accessible water pumps that are difficult to manage the outflow while holding the container etc. esp as solo endeavor. This also lets us filter the water.

You might enjoy camping at Silver Springs or the Dalles, also on 410, just past Greenwood. Both are along a river (White River?) and in the heavily forested portion there. Two words of caution when camping in areas where you have no electricity/cell phone connection: be sure that you have a good first aid kit on-board AND a can of bear spray. During this time of year (and for the next month or two) bears will be visiting the rivers to do some fine dining on fish of all sorts (especially those streams/rivers with returning salmon) and you don't want to get into any kind of situation with a bear that you can't get out of!

Love that you’re exploring 410! I’m from the west side but have been camping along 410 for 30+ years. Happy to show you around and get you to some cinematic spots (I’m an amateur cinematographer/nature videographer). Careful heading east though, that’s how you end up with a rig with 4x4 and getting addicted to being way off grid ;) ask me how I know
