On the Shelton waterfront A Simpson train is receiving bundles of logs from an overhead crane with a huge claw which grabs the loads out of the water and places them between the bunkers on the flat cars. In the bay two put-put tugs shunt the bundles apart from the raft and maneuver them to the crane. In the last scene our engine has moved up to the siding at the west end of town and joined up with the 1201's log train to help push it up the hill to the dry-sort yard at Dayton.
