What about the sizing on these? True to size? How do they run? I’m a 9.5 medium US on the Brannock scale should I go with UK 8.5?

I find these run TTS for most wearers, and consider Half a Size difference between a TTS US made shoe and a TTS UK made shoe, so UK 9 for you ?

I've got those shoes and they are excellent, you won't buy any other shoe.
