bro this is so truth, i played from 2003 from cs 1.6, source then cs go, but today i realised i doesn't play for 3 years in this game, i played today 2 games, this sub tick is maximally 32 tick instead of 64, earlier when u had 1.6 and the source came out, ofc bunny hops were broken exetra, but the playstyle the game was the same, movements were clean, and the game was just fun, cs go was very good comparing it to cs2 now it feels more like unpolished baby(sad thing they didn't put this out like its their next game, instead they deleted cs go because they knew no one gonna wan't to play this bulls*it), but now i need to say im never coming back to this game untill its really playable and enojable, and ofically this is the end for me with this game because it just doesn't have the soul anymore time to come back to source, keep the good work maybe bcs of you guys something will change for better who know's, keep up the good work ;)

I miss csgo so much. I still play cs2 out of habit and just to play with friends since it's almost the same but only on the surface. It doesn't give me the same good feeling as csgo did. Dying behind walls and killing enemies who hid already without a wallbang, huge peekers advantage are just 2 main reasons imo. My K/D ratio dropped significantly when cs2 was released and I just can't enter flow state in a match eversince.

It's cause the billions don't go to the workers and they are probably understaffed and not allowed to push changes faster.

When I started playing CS2 I was confused on how the game in that state could have lasted over a decade. Now I’m sad to learn that I’ve missed the actual golden age and good versions of the game

The taking a year to fix the ladder thing makes me laugh. I still get stuck on random crap on Inferno and the best part is I'm a map maker and I could literally fix the problems in 10 minutes but Valve doesn't give us access to their maps because they know we can do their jobs better than they can. Valve's policy, in my opinion, unfolds as follows: I call it the "capitalism disease" because this crap happens in almost all companies when they become so big in the shortest time. When such companies achieve a respectable power, they eventually begin to abuse this power. It's in their nature, and that's exactly how they proceed. The other way around wouldn't work. Did Valve gain such great power through CS? By no means, it's the damn skins, of course. Therefore, one must understand the system precisely. With the introduction of skins, CS:GO has divided itself into three categories: Pro scene (BigStage) ESL Major Tournaments, etc. Skins Cheaters (There are three types of cheaters: 1. The pros who cheat in tournaments for the prize pool. 2. Those who just want to troll/fuck with people. 3. Those who simply want to reach higher ranks.) These three categories have a special feature: They can actually get along well without each other. Cheaters: As we all know, CS is basically a relatively challenging tactical FPS shooter with its own dynamics and infrastructure, incomparable to any other FPS shooter. Many casual players are not successful in real life. Such games suggest to these players that they can become heroes. The pursuit of higher ranks, recognition, and acceptance in the community. However, a few are truly talented and become good, let alone professional, to make a living from it. And yes, during CS 1.6 times, there were TONS of cheaters. The problem is not new. There have always been cheaters, and there always will be. Anyone who really thought that cheating in CS2 would no longer be possible... well, xd. The pursuit of quick success without effort. Skins: The introduction of skins (2013, I believe) was a well-thought-out marketing gap that Valve skillfully exploited, making CS:GO much more colorful and vibrant. The pricing policy has developed on its own. Supply and demand determine the price. A few skins are worth millions today. The usual buy, sell, rebuy, resell principle. Can you imagine what is unthinkable in such a system? Yes, exactly, money laundering! That's why Valve added a cash cap and timer to prevent it from escalating. The skin policy can also work very well without CS. There are now people who live off skin trading without ever having played CS:GO. People with a million-euro inventory were banned, people were scammed. Back then, there were middlemen to catch the scammers, etc. I won't write about betting offices; otherwise, this will turn into a book. The pursuit of quick money without effort. Many players quit, cheaters overwhelmed the game. 90% of players were simply dissatisfied. BOOM CS2 Trailer!!! Dynamic smokes, VAC Live, Sub-Tick, Source2 engine. Yes, exactly, Source2 was introduced in 2015! Exactly read, we are playing CS2 with Source2 engine, which is now 9 years old. WOW, VALVE!!! All of this was announced. Now you may guess which of the mentioned categories doesn't work? A fully baked CS:GO was destroyed, and a CS2 with Valorant tendencies was born, to the disadvantage of the CS community. I'm tired... Bro, back in the day Blizzard did same thing with previous versions of the game - didn't make them possible to be played, and forced players to play latest version of the game, even if people wanted to play old expansions. They fell apart as a company, and are now re-building it all - and have brought old expansions back. Valve didn't learn much, maybe as they are worth BILLIONS. Go ahead, open fucking crates, gamble on skins - and then complain that u cant do shit to the company that profits of all of that.

We'll have to wait and hope they fix this game or come back with Cs Go while they work on this new game

ill never understand why they removed csgo, i always thought theyd have both and you can choose what to play at least for a year and then maybe they get rid of csgo, cos then it gives the players a game they can play that works and they can spend time fixing the bugs and problems with cs2 - deleting a working popular game to force all players to play a game in beta thats untested full of problems and errors is so insane it makes me think they genuinely dont give a fuck about retaining their players because they know people will always play and buy cases etc

It took valve 3 years to make cs go good . Mf it ain't 2013 anymore where valve made a big jump forwards from cs source or cs 1.6 to csgo which didnt look the same and didnt function the same so obviously it took them 3 years to fix it. It is 2024 instead of making a big jump from csgo to cs2 valve has made a backwards jump where the game feels like we are in 2013 again. I can say that cs 1.6 feels 10x better than cs2 . If cs 1.6 had skins and ranking systems i guarantee that atleast 60% of the players would play that game

I keep saying it wherever i can: All the ppl complaining about servers, cheaters, skins, gamemodes etc. etc. ALL of this doesnt matter. The core, the very deep core of all the problems cs2 has right now is SUBTICK. Because of subtick the game feels shit and it just isnt fun! But i have little to no hope that they will undo this shit. They will keep pushing and trying to mask it lol. Everyone stopped playing cs2.
