NA 8-10 level players always amaze me with how they dont know basic things such as defuse time, 10 second volume etc...

I can tell you from my experience is that a lot of NA players underestimate strategy and fundamentals. Most of them think you can just out aim everyone.

deadset. been lvl 10 in oce for years now. smurfing in lvl 5, heaps of people know insta smokes, people know how to rotate, crisp aimers. NA lvl 7+ is so clueless.

this is the current state of NA faceit. queueing is overpowered. mediocre players can queue with teammates and basically play at a much higher level as long as theyre willing to comm and set up plays for each other

@@stayhome4626 I just want to see people lift each other up. Every coaching video I watch is people saying how bad player is. When most people look bad if you look at your own demo

Actually in CS2 you dont even have to rely on music anymore. the sound of the bomb ticking changes when you get at the 10s mark. The beep is higher.

I play w two other friends in NA level 10. I had to explain to them last week that they need to turn off the 10 second music because the bomb itself now indicates when it's 10 seconds. Furthermore, the 10 second music is 10 seconds +/- .5 seconds usually (it is not 100% accurate but the new bomb tick sound in cs2 is 100% accurate). Turn off the 10 second music because it will only add confusion and is no longer necessary

I think it was like that in csgo too. You need to start defusing half a decond before music because of the animation. I think panaroma update caused this.

@@pienixcsWhat I liked about this is that he was making an excuse, and with one word you just defused it by forcing him to acknowledge the reality. It's a hard game.

They added a new audio cue in the bomb sound for 10 second warning so you can confidently disable all music in your settings and still know when time’s up

I pref music tbh, also the sound is inaccurate as far as i know but correct me if im wrong

@@pienixcs I think it’s as inaccurate as the music (couple milliseconds off). I remember having a teammate stick just after the audio cue and still managed to defuse.

Who should throw the b door smoke? If a B player throws it using the lineup wouldnt he be too delayed to throw the molotov needed to take control of banana?

He would, so there are couple solutions -learn the insta smokes (they exist) -have a/mid player throw it -throw it with this lineup and be late (expect they can run up b ramp) -have your cave player throw it(then he's late to cave)

Molly could be useful if you time it right. If they are communited to the push and like 2 people are already through, you'll either cut 2 people off or force the rest to push through as well.

I feel like faceit 8 NA is like faceit 5 EU, how can you play the game for this long and dont know basic economy or defusetimings

for real playing against lvls in EU, yeah you get russian suka blyats, but most players know how to shoot and know the basics of the game. This guy plays and talks like a guy who's just learned the game and got decent enough to get LEM. Getting lvl 8 with this skillset just shows you the level of NA cs.

Yea NA is generally lower lvl than EU that's correct

Not making excuses. I should absolutely know this stuff, but in my defense - I'm coming back to the game after not having played competitive CS for ~10+ years. I always went off "feel" for defuse times and such back in the day and iirc there was no 10s warning music in 1.6 or CS:S. I've spent next to no time playing competitive CS:GO (all 1.6 and CS:S) so some of this is very new to me.

It amazes me as at level 8 people don't know the basics of CS. 10 seconds warning volume, how long it takes to defuse with a kit or without a kit, to aim at head level, to double someone, to throw basic easy on the run smokes/flashes/etc. NA amazes me every time =))

There is tons of free content on KZfaq for you to learn. I would only recommend coaching if you're trying to get into playing CS in a league but that's just my opinion.

There is no such thing as playing like silver with god aim - if you have god aim then one of your (imo most important) parts of the game is super good and its enough to get you out of silver. The conclusion is then you are not silver
