Ouvir artistas dos Anos 60/70/80 é como se o tempo não tivesse passado para eles! Na minha opinião, foram as três décadas que mais nos encantaram com verdadeiros talentos da música mundial! Parecia um formigueiro em festa! Foi uma pena eu não ter tido a idéia de listá-los em um caderno espiral de 500 folhas! E ainda seriam necessários mais cadernos! E quando eu vejo aqueles jovens de cabelos brancos ou grisalhos cantando e tocando como há 60 anos, eu penso : " Caramba! Continuam com a mesma garra dos seus vinte e poucos anos! E eu curti todos eles, num patamar altíssimo da Arte Musical, como em nenhum momento!". Como somos abençoados por estarmos vivos, já na terceira idade, com o 💖 💙 de vinte! Gratidão, meu Deus! 🎼🎶🎵🙇🌻

Brings back memories playing this on the old tape systems in the car. Great voice. There is a simplicity to this music and song. Uncluttered and yet it stirs up the thought of young love and learning that love can be complicated. Fantastic seeing the younger men playing in the band.. I always enjoy seeing that generational interchange, no matter what the craft.

I was in Jr high school when this song came out, I had a friend named Susan, this poor girl was tall, painfully skinny, she was on the homely side, but she was a very kind and loving girl. We were at a school dance and her parents were chaperoning it, her dad went outside and brought this man in, he was much older than we were, the man walked onto the stage and called Susan to join him, he sang this song to her and when he finished, he proposed to her and she said yes. Their wedding was beautiful and she kept going to school, she didn’t have her first baby until after we graduated from high school. We thought it was creepy him being so much older than her but he loved her and took very good care of her.

Trust me i saw him live once he is def singing this live, you can hear its slightly different from the recording from 72.

This is a live concert in Sri Lanka in 2010. I saw a similar concert in my country Malaysia around the same time. The recording is not very good and Lobo actually sounded better on stage. He was only 67 in 2010 and I wrote a review of his concert. If you're interested, check it out online.
