Lobongo Lotika or Lougn Lotika is a traditional Bengali Sweet made with Maida (all purpose flour), coconut (grated), ghee (clarified butter), nutmeg powder, nuts, raisins, cloves & sugar.
The dough is rolled out & the coconut filling is placed in the centre. Then the dough is folded & deep fry lobongo lotika in hot ghee or oil. At the end it is coated with sugar syrup.
