itsColleenSade and we are back with another Loc video!!! I'm sharing current products I use, if and how often I twist my locs. I also share my wash details as well as my loc goals and regrets. Thank you for watching! Feel free to share your helpful knowledge in the comments below.

I need a conditioner but at the same time don't want the build up. I use the carol's daughter black vanilla leave in conditioner spray after every wash. It's water based and been using it for three years in my loc regiment, no issues also seal with my go to oil mixture. I also use head and shoulders 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner again no issues. I have tried other shampoos and they have jacked me up. So I stay with these products that never fail me. I also moisturize with water mixed with lavender essential oil every other day.

So happy 2 hear u washing weekly. Ik its taboo n the loc community. I wash and condition weekly and that's it.

I love the thickness of your locs! They are so beautiful! I cut all of my hair off 2 weeks ago, because I was freeforming and it wasn’t what I was really looking for. I was literally wearing wigs over free form locs and had to stop all that. I will definitely make sure they are thicker, because my hair is fine and I don’t want them to look too thin.

Aw... thank you Rynae! I know the free-form journey has to be a real one. I want to do it at some point. Maybe one day we'll go at it together. For now, I'm with you on keeping those roots thick and strong.

Loving this video. I’m 3 weeks into my thick loc journey. 25 locs ! I just want to know how often did you retwist at the beginning? ❤

I started wit small twist locs for like 8 to 9 months and combined them in to locs almost as thick as yours .. it’s been about 6 months now and they are locked and look similar to yours on a root to end basis .. I find that it still isn’t fully locked yet and at the ends I get those lil balls of hair that I either clip or crochet to the rest of the loc .. what if any advice do u have to control those lil balls I have to keep clipping every couple months .. and how long did it take your hair to officially lock up

Honestly I still have loose ends on several and cut lil balls for about a year. I also cut one to experiment but don't recommend that bc I have to use a straight pin on that loc bc build up traps in the end bc I cut it. Maybe I'll interview a loctition as a video or live and we can get good answers and recommendations. We're in it together. Thanks for watching!!!
