My Dad was a proud 60 year member of Local 2375 in Wilmington ,CA. Dad passed away on Feb.15, 2019. Pile Butts are some of the hardest working people on the face of the earth imo

Sketchy crane my ass. That’s a bad ass rig for driving pile. I’ve run that rig. It’s a link belt truck crane (238) 125 ton. Perfect for driving batter pile along side the highway.

Seems like a lot of body parts under heavy steel, lots of work to align as well. Glad we run Berminghammer setup, hanging leads are rare up here.

What if he's pulling levers with one hand, and holding his cell phone in the other? I've worked with one that was notorious for that, had a few close calls with a free falling headache ball... was tempted to throw my 28oz into the cab many times.

I had many friends Cindy was one of my favorite ones Irish Mike and spider girl Sun Berry Bill witache Dave laine from Boston Ricky and his brother Ed. These people I respected no matter how mean they were to me 'Tex Mon Row" The two welders named Ed who were the top of the line, you had to run to keep up with them and they didn't even break a sweat they were that cool!

Steady the fucking camera next time and show us the base of the pile at ground level so we can see each increment on the pile going in. ie; each blow! Yes, this is cool. We drive smaller piles with hydraulic hammers. 2-8 inch pipe and 6-8 inch WF

People treat the Earth like a junkie's arm, driving all sorts of crap into it, much of which will never be removed. Another example: google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=wind+farm+mountain
@user-ky6vw5up9m3 жыл бұрын
Geo T The pile is made from materials that came from the earth. They are going back home now.
@keithjohnson2813 жыл бұрын
so what's your point??

what's sad is Geo T's vote counts the same as the men/women driving piles. These are jobs that feed people- it is a great thing.
