Jack wearing the balaclava mask is foolish because he's going to be noticed - from either near or very far - as the only person in town who's wearing a head covering for winter in the middle of summer. This is a slow burn. It's becoming a university-level psychology class' therapy session. Everybody is morose and bitter. A small town experience like David Lynch's Blue Velvet. It seems onvious that the ex-villain woman Frightside's demon is going to be released because that's what that killer wanted. The killer is the baker woman! That demon had better emerge in the next issue. Some action needs to happen. I understand that Jack has obstacles to overcome on his inquiries. As for the short story, I'm not interested in yet another cheating, unfaithful wife. But...we'll see how it plays out in the follow-up. It's not bad. Thanks for the review, Marinus!
