While true that it’s more and more like the jetsons or something… humans have had it with the service industry. Waitressing is one of the lowest paying, most dehumanizing jobs in the country. You’re treated with zero respect and in the not so old days sexually harassing waitstaff in front and back of house was pretty common. No support from bosses who value the bottom line over having happy staff..and HR? Please…I did two years as a waitress in Detroit. The owner was later shot during a robbery(I was long gone by then). It’s dystopian but so are smartphones, smartwatches, internet ,self driving cars. You want better service from humans? Pay them and treat them as if you do. If not, Pearl will be happy to take care of your dining needs…because she’s been programmed to.

Bellabot is 100 times better than Pearl You don’t need the server with Bellabot, they can be doing other things that make customers happy.. With Bellabot, you take the food off the tray, and if you take the wrong food Bellabot warns you, and then can warn the kitchen etc.. Bellabot has a face, you can pet it, kids love Bellabot, it’s multi-lingual , it can sing Happy Birthday, more than one Bellabot can be mapped in a restaurant and work together, I could keep going lol😂

Holy Roomba, what happens there at that restaurant? How the food robot can deliver to our food?

Yeah, great that’s all fun and games until you don’t tip it and it grabs you with an unholy amount of strength and demands new parts instead and a suitable robot love partner

So the waiter stands at the table waiting for the Robot to show up with the food. How dumb is that ??? I don't see this being a permanent solution. It's trendy for now but I think customers prefer to have a waiter with a PULSE ! ! !

Awesome, but I question the utility of it if the waiter has to stand next to the table lol. Just bring the food yourself instead of staying there hand in hand.

I love these with labour shortages why not! These robots can work 7 days with just charging needed. No need to put up with rude entitled customers or hotel guests.

Human waiters are generally being paid just $2/hr plus tips. If a business can't afford to pay workers $2/hr, they can't afford to be in business, just pitiful.😂

And yet you still need a human being to take the food off of the robot and hand it to the people also, the robot is a little bit slower than your average waiter so overall, it’s probably not gonna save one bit of labor at all just a gimmick

Until it can go over a door threshold it isn’t gonna work many places.

So your food isn't protected from the kitchen to the table. Anyone can drop anything on those plates and spike the food. No thanks. I boycott these places, same as I boycott Domino pizza that delivers on push bikes but charges $15 delivery.

At least she won’t harass you for tips.

저렇게 크고 넓은곳에서는 쓸만하지. 저렇게 큰곳은 쓰는것이 훨씬 이익이지. 작은곳에선 솔직히 가격에 비해서 거리가 거긴 가깝기 때문에 쓰기 안좋고, 저렇게 큰 매장, 저렇게 큰곳은 로봇이 아주 효율적으로 잘 쓰이겠지.

All gonna be fun and games until kids try to ride it and destroy it. Who's gonna pay for repairs? Why is it delivering food instead of taking the dirty dishes to the kitchen?

yeah, this is horrible :-)

Now people who used to work as servers can go to school and learn code AKA programming, some education never hurts . The only problem here those lazy bums are waiters and waitresses because they either suck at learning or hate school.

I will tip less because of robot maybe just 5% instead of 15%
