Loch Lomond is one of the best known Scottish songs. In this fiddle lesson I demonstrate the basic melody, then look at how to improve it with the Scotch Snap, with ornamentation (cuts and hammer-ons) and with drones and double stops. I also look at the version by Runrig, with their epic intro riff. I use on-screen sheet music, and a free pdf of the sheet music for Loch Lomond is available to subscribers (see below).
