Update 2023 (for those using this video for info before visiting Japan) - visited on the 27th of April. Only English manga available was Full Metal Alchemist, One Piece, Kenshin, Bleach, Naruto, My Hero Academia and 2/3 others I can't remember and it's located in the reception by the magazine's not the black shelves like on the video. And don't be fooled by the ones with an English name on the cover, it's still in Japanese. If you're looking for current manga in English sadly you're out of luck. Still a cool experience just to chill with a "classic" but options are limited.

I accidentally walked into a manga cafe when I was at Sendai during my solo backpacker trip in 2017. I arrived at Sendai on 11 PM without any hotel reservations. When I walked around Sendai Station, I was surprised with so many people sleep outside the station. Mostly salaryman who missed the last train. I guess it's not a bad idea to sleep at the station, but before that I wanted to buy drinks. On my way to find a convenient store I found a building with many shops in it. Out of my curiosity, I walked in and found myself at a manga cafe. At that time I didn't know what manga cafe is and asked the receptionist with my broken Japanese. She explained it to me and then I decided to spend the night there. Only 2400 Yen for 8 hours and I got a breakfast, snacks, free drinks, and a shower as well. That was a great experience.

Yea it's totally a thing where a lot people will essentially use a manga cafe as a hotel. I've even heard crazy stories of people basically living in a manga cafe for extensive periods of time. I don't know if they've made some new policies to avoid such a thing so might not be the case anymore. I'd personally love to relax at a manga cafe for 24 hours. Although I'd probably have to bring some extra cushions for optimal relaxation.

24 hours. Video is 24 minutes long. Should we expect each hour of the experience condensed into a minute?

Now change saw back to see lmao. You were already right. "did" indicates past tense, so you don't need the words after to also be past tense. "What did you _see_ ", you were already right buddy

Even if im late to all this, I reccomend the Danganronpa series game and manga to anyone who likes survival and mystery! The timeline can get a bit shaky if you’re not paying attention, but it’s one of my favorites!
