I usually buy a 7.5 oz half can, & mix it with 1 avocado, a Roma tomato, & chopped onion & eat it in a bowl. I grew up in the 70's when salmon patties were very popular with the working class, you could try that too. The salmon fat/oil is super high in Omega 3's, making it a healthy canned meat. It doesn't taste like fresh salmon bought in the meat market of course, so maybe it is an acquired taste.

So, I never grew up eating that stuff and still don't today. Only canned meat I ever had were vienna sausages. The only thing I hate about canned fish is finding bones. My expectations are, if they are removing the bones, the least they can do is make sure there are none. But I know it cannot always be prevented. This is going back 20 years ago. So, I don't know if it has improved.
