For real though, two tries isn't _nearly_ enough to prove it wasn't a fluke.

I am really waiting for a LPL parody where "to prove it wasn't a fluke" consists of looking at a cheap voltmeter to verify that it, indeed, wasn't a Fluke.
@Makstuff2 жыл бұрын

While at the "Dollar store" where I shop, a man wanted to swap an empty propane tank for a full one. But the key to the metal cage outside the store was misplaced. I told the manager, that I could open it without damaging the lock or the cage. With her permission, that 4 pin Master® lock lasted less than 30 seconds.

"Oh thank goodness you saved the day- wait can you just do that with any lock?!"
@klausbrinck21372 жыл бұрын
@@dakat5131 please don´t say that, it has happened to me: When younger, I noticed that a new girl in the 12-floors-student-residence I lived, was calling the locksmith (which was very expensive), so I blocked her, saying I´d open her room´s door for free. I´ve noticed before, that she disliked me, and thought that this way, her childish behaviour would end. She thought that this is a good idea, but she cannot allow it, cause afterwards, I´d be able to enter her room any time I wanted. I resolved the misunderstanding, by explaining her, that this has been already the case the whole time before, and that I had no interest in entering her room for any reason... When she realized that I was serious, she nearly jumped to the ceiling, frightened, and then was just looking at me like she were stoned, in total disbelief that she hasn´t been murdered or, at least, raped already... We finally went on, to open her door (despite her 3 girlfriends trying to convince her of the opposite), and next time we met, I didn´t talk to her ever again, cause what´s the use of talking to such a stupid person, after all.

I like when I click "like" and see the counter go up. Kindof. Dude. This showed up in my recommended, and I'm also amused you put the link to covertinstruments in the description box. I've gotten a few things from there, including a few Leishies for different keyways and a full pick kit. Gotta saw the Leisheis are far easier for the novice. A lock I own was super easy to pick with that. But using a traditional pick? Nope. Even though by that point I KNEW how high each pin needed to go. I need a LOT more practice at it. I'm only in this as a casual hobby, so it will take some time.

@@stephenlayland2889 platychthis = "flatfish" in greek (actually "platichthys"). "ιχθυς" was also the acronym painted on the soldiers´ shields, bound to the victory of Constantin the Great (eastern roman empire), against the western roman emperor, which marked the final victory of christendom over other beliefs in the roman empire. ιχθυς = Ιησους Χριστος, Θεου Υιος, Σωτηρ = iisUs hristOs, theU iiOs, sotIr =Jesus Christ, God´s Son, Saviour. When talking about "flexing"... ;-)" Ι,ι/Η,η/Υ,υ all pronounced like the "I,i" in "Tonic" (greek has even more letters soundng like an "I,i"). ΟΥ, ου=U,υ. The capital letters in the middle of words, are to show u where the stress is put on. "Platitude" comes from platys/πλατυς/flat,broad, describing a word (or phrase), that´s been misused so often, that it´s lost some dimension of its meaning (it´s now just 2dimensional, flat, flacid), degrading to an empty shell.
