Mind sharing where did you hear about the leather quality on the puzzle mini being inferior? Curious bcs this is the first time I heard about it, I thought they're using the same leather regardless of any bag size

If something so materialistic and as tangible as a bag is breaks your heart, I wonder how many pieces you shatter into if and when you face something truly heartbreaking. It is just a bag and I find this channel the best reminder of all that nothing is less important than luxury and material in general.

some women who barely go to art exhibitions or know anything about contemporary art or film in general, suddenly think they know what a masterpiece is because they want to buy a branded bag in the thousands £££. it's not a masterpiece, you've been exploited to feel that way because of successful marketing/manipulation. there are a lot of books and studies on this. it's not anything unique. the only bags you could maybe genuinely think of as "masterpieces" would be ones that are antiques and probably made for the VERY rich/royalty, bags that are museum quality because of something very unique (definitely can't be mass produced easily), or if I'm being very generous - very early drafts of these kinds of bags from back in the day. like the final draft of the originals or something (even then, not really a masterpiece without any context of it being a famous bag). after that, it's really just marketing trying to fool people. there's nothing wrong with getting a nice bag, you should if you want to. but there is not really anything special about the vast majority of these designer bags compared to one that costs like £250. the materials used are either the same, or quite often even worse than the cheaper bags. if they are famous designers - you can guarantee you're getting even less for your money actually. the amount of money they have to spend on marketing is reflected in the bag. that's not anything about quality, in fact a lot of these bags have shown to have mental premiums on them. the more people that realise this the better, that's why these videos are great and will get people into more diverse bags for less money. because anything that is obviously branded with a name is seen as a bit tacky. i mean ones with like big logos etc.

You do not have to watch any of these videos if you find them distressing. But since you are, pay attention to the fact that most of these bags cost $200 or less to make. Double that so the maker can get a profit, and the rest of the price is psychological.

How can you be sad because he is deconstructing a bag? I own two Polene bags, and I'd be glad to see him deconstruct them, because it will put things into perspective and further serve as a reminder that it's just a bag.
