I still remember my first and only purchase of a luxury handbag like it was yesterday 5/5/2015..lol.. it was the LV Artsy bag. I went to the LV store on Fifth Ave. in NYC I intended to get a completely different bag but fell in love with the Artsy which was also more than what I intended to spend, but I said to myself you're here, you LOVE it and you can afford it so I purchased it...I felt so warm inside and full of joy you could not tell me anything that day!! So I get it...yes was my happiness in that moment derived from a material item... YES!!! But also in realizing that I never thought as a child I would EVAAA spend that much on a handbag but I work hard, I got a bonus and I just simply deserved it and have no regrets!!!! I'm sure that you will love your Puzzle for many years to come. It's one bag that really holds up and also is classic enough to not end up last year's, "It" bag. I'm glad that you went on and got the bag since the exchange rate is favorable to us. I've been buying bags in Europe since a teen in the 1970s as it has always been less expensive there than here for certain bags. I'm so glad that Loewe upped its game and got Anderson on board. I remember Loewe way back in the day when it wasn't hip to say the least. I have one small Puzzle in fuchsia and and both a true-orange-color one and a black one in medium. I also had a large one in black, but sold it as it was too big. The only one that's not pre-owned is the medium black one. The price mark of the Puzzle has skyrocketed since my first one in 2019. I got the fuchsia one for $905. before the tax and the orange one for a little more. Both were pre-owned, but not one flaw anywhere on either bag. They looked brand new. That was before the Puzzle craze really took off and before folks were really into them like now. Enjoy your bag and remember to buy what you want. Different people have different ways of spending their hard-earned money. Some spend it on expensive cars. I live in the land of expensive cars, but choose not to have an expensive one. I can't wait to get back across the pond next year during sale season. I got super lucky earlier this year and caught a large Ferragamo Studio bag in a light blue color for 950EUR, which at the time was about $1250 USD, in Charles de Gaulle Airport on a layover. This bag still retails for $3,500! I still smile at that purchase when I think about it. It's the most I've ever spent on a bag but definitely has set the bar high. I got my Loewe double flamingo bag for about $2300 in Paris compared to $3900 in the US! A big time win!!! The double bag reminds me of bottega clutch, but the Loewe bag is more interesting with the 2 tone and shoulder strap. Plus it’s the softest, most supple, buttery leather!

Hey T..thanks for the history lesson. I love Loewe and got a zippered puzzle bag on the pre loved market for a steal about 5 years ago. It has held up and is still beautiful and supple. I am also about to check out J.W Andersons line I am Feeling the bumper bag.. I think his line is definitely underrated.

Hi Tashira! I completely understand the contentment behind handbag purchases. I haven’t bought a new luxury handbag in probably over a year or two. I absolutely love my collection! I purchased years ago a few bags that I never thought I would have including the old standby‘s like the Vuitton speedys and neverfulls And a couple of classic leather Vuitton bags as well. Obviously I am Vuitton girl through and through. And I think what took me over the edge is when I had a special bag made by Vuitton that contains my initials the monogram and black leather as opposed to the Vachetta leather. Oh I absolutely love that sweetie it fits everything I need and it was made just for me in Paris. I don’t need any other bags. I mean I have a few other classics like a Fendi baguette and a Chanel lamb skin bag and of course Balenciagas. But I really do think I have gotten to the level of purse peace. I can only see myself adding new luxury bags only in the occasion that they’re very very very special. Plus the prices in the streets are astronomical!

I too have been looking at this bag for about 3 years and finally took the leap last week. I purchased it from a popular big box retailer for a marvelous price using my employee discount. Picked the medium in the exact same color. I love that the medium has the feet. Read somewhere this bag is being discontinued and the Loewe "edge" puzzle will take it's place. I hope not.
