I bought the drop candy mini feast last year and everyone was in a confused uproar about the ham candy. The rest they could take or leave, but the ham caused visible consternation. It was AWESOME

I realize there might be some trade secrets involved, but it would be great to see the process of making the flavours and preparing the sugar “pre-table”.

My favorite part of these videos is when you use the scissors to cut the slab and then lift up the pieces and the hot gelatinous part oozes out.

The ham was great. The one thing I’ll say is I didn’t really care too much for the celery dressing and the butternut squash but besides that it was all amazing. Also Greg I love candy corn.

It makes me unseasonably upset that you can't eat it when it's all goopy and runny. I mean I know it would pretty much melt my throat but COME ON.

I would be very interested in a video about flavorings: natural vs artificial, combining flavors to achieve a separate distinct flavor, and any other aspects of the subject.

The ham was the BEST! I loved the merlot too- it was my husbands fav, I hope the flavor you are replacing it with is as good. I have already ordered this years assaortment :)

I loved the ham. It was uncanny and hilarious. The celery dressing was the real star, IMO. The combo of celery dressing and ham was my fave.

You should try a county fair collection maybe for the summer... corn dogs, popcorn, candy apple, cheese burger, pizza, deep fried pickle, curly fries, etc etc. Try to get all the crazy flavours bang on!

I got the candy last year! The apple pie and sweet corn were my absolute favorites. While I usually love dressing on my Thanksgiving table, I didn't care for it so much as candy. But I'm happy to see one of my favorites coming back!

I bought the 'leftovers' assortment last year that had the flavors but not the pictures. My husband absolutely could not eat the ham candy. It was too strange for him. He did really like the sweet potato one, though. Out of hte whole assortment, I liked the stuffing one the best- all the herb and celery flavors were delicious!

OMG the ham was awesome! !! I was too late and got the leftovers (just squares, not images), and my favorites were something that tasted like cinnamon apples and buttered roll.

We just had the kiwi and pumpkin and variety spooky pack, they were all amazing. Would love to order unicorn droppings, we’re a bit too far south to pop by but we would be all over them if they were online!

FYI, the violet candy is AWESOME. (My order got here a few days ago!) I haven't tried the Halloween candy because I bought it to give as gifts but it looks great too.

I preorded this batch along with a ton of other flavors. My wife bought me the around the world v2 and we loved it so much that we had to buy a lot more the same day. FYI guys these can take a while to be delivered but its worth the wait. Also the one thing i can describe his hard candy as "clean" tasting nothing gets in the way of the flavors and it doesnt taste like it was processed in a factory so im sticking with the word clean.

I had a ham piece in a Damfino mix last year. To be honest, I despise ham. But this was so incongruous (It's ham but it's not but it's HAM but it's weird but it's HAAAAM) that I had to keep eating it just for the weirdness of it. I'm glad I tried it for the weirdness of it all but dang it all, it's HAM. It tasted just like that part of the ham where the honey glaze seeps into the meat and the whole thing caramelizes in ways that Grandma made me eat. Well done, sir. A wonder of engineering that I'd rather not experience again.

Cheddar on apple pie reminds me of a story a chef instructor of mine told me while I was still in culinary school. Apparently, putting cheddar cheese on apple pie was a very Ontario thing to do. Still haven't tried it but would love to!

We shared the Candy Feast with my family after Thanksgiving. I was a big fan of the corn and merlot but the dressing nobody liked. The ham was either hated or loved depending on who I asked. I love the mixes like this it's both incredible to try such different flavors but sometimes the most powerful flavors can overpower the others after being in the bag awhile.

loved the assortment, the only thing i could possibly complain about and I don't know if you would call it that... I wish you could purchase larger oz. quantities of candy. rather than multiple smaller packages.

For some reason I want to have one of those candy rods before they're cut down.... Probably couldn't afford it especially with the packaging that would be required to keep it from shattering. I do think candy rods of a simple stripe pattern might sell but I guess not as well as bite-sized , Also I'm sure somebody would buy one of the log size pieces of candy but that would be way out of my budget

1) Mallowcreme pumpkins > candy corn (esp if they're unwaxed, which is probably the biggest point of failure for makers to screw up) 2) The Ham candy was alright. I didn't really get any of the meat or salt taste, just a bit of the smoke flavor, but the concept was enough to make my family skittish when I brought some of the mix for them to try, so that was fun to watch. That and the rolls one. I'll miss it, tbh; it reminded me of buttered popcorn jelly beans, which are much better tasting than conventional opinion gives it credit for 3) Heck yeah I'd be down for beet candy! Maybe even celery stick flavor too (with cream cheese and manzanilla olives, to differentiate them from dressing). EDIT: Oh goodness Unicorn droppings on sale online would kill me!

I loved this mix last year and am anticipating delivery this year. I thought about finding some of the Brach’s mix. I read a few reviews on line. Pretty universal dislike of most flavors was expressed. I would have liked to taste the cranberry flavor.

Titanium oxide is poisonous in high quantities, but it's the only white coloring you can use for these applications probably. You definitely cannot use the white pigment used for painting walls of your home

We did a taste testing of the holiday feast after Thanksgiving dinner last year. Results were very mixed: I remember people loving the ham & hating the celery. (And sadly our bag didn’t include enough merlot for everyone.) I still have some leftover that I’ll dig out and review. (But some melted since then!)

Beets should be great in candy, imo. Red velvet as a flavor in baking was invented during ww2, when cocoa was rationed, and house wives had to be inventive when making things like cakes. I've loved the few traditional red velvet things I've tried, but it's so hard to find, bc most "red velvet" these days is just chocolate with red food coloring :/

The Turkey Dinner Candy Corn was mostly good. I like the Turkey flavor and sweet potato pie, although, it didn't really taste exactly like turkey and pie.

I am so frustrated! Why is it that I can master puff pastry, macrons and tempering chocolate, but I have not been able to make hard candy! Every time I get my sugar syrup up to 300 degrees, it starts to caramelize. I clean my sauce pan with Bar Keepers Friend then lots of hot soapy water. I also used distilled water. Agh! Help!!!!
