Delo 400 is a great oil!! It’s the original diesel oil, Diesel Engine Lubricating Oil = DELO! Awesome additives package, I used it in everything!

Sea Bee Uncle had a prentice like that but a smaller size with a Detroit in it. 4-lever too but mounted on a DM Mack tandem. The 1st one was a G-model prentice on a 60-something Chevy tandem with a 478 Toro-flo diesel and a 5x3. I ran the G model more than the other but still fooled with both. I run Delo in all the mowers and the S-10 Taco with the 4.3. It runs 80+ oil pressure at 195 degrees at idle. The MAIN reason was I ran a 980G Cat loader for LBM that had 22 THOUSAND hours on it and had never had any work on it or the tranny. Valve cover gasket started leaking and the mechanic checked the tolerances while he was putting a new gasket on it and everything was up to spec so he put it back up. They bought it new around 02 or 03. They got an 'H' and I got the 'G'. When I quit it had over 22K hours and still never touched. Ran every day. Cat place was thoroughly aggravated that they hadn't got to sell them a motor or a tranny. And since you figured out the 310 Wiley is running in 2nd fiddle and he'll be trying to play catch up and pass you and #3 was ALWAYS listen to Gina! GBWYall

Delo 400 is the best diesel oil in my opinion. I engineered on fishing boats in Alaska for years and that's all I used. In fact that was often all that was readily available. That tells you something. You depend on those engines for your life up there and if you wanted Rotella, well than you could make your own arrangements to have it flown in, because the entire rest of the fleet uses Delo 400.

Back in the "day" I was driving long haul and had a ole Pete cabin over with a 1693 425 hp Cat (dating myself) w/4x4 trans, anyway back to the oil story. This engine would use 3-5 gal a week on a Ca. to Canada turn. The "boss" insisted on using Rotella, IMHO this was junk oil. I really got tired of packing so much oil and at the next oil change used Delo 400, my favorite. The oil consumption fell to less that a gal a week. He was going over the receipts a few weeks later and saw I was using Delo, man was he pissed, until I told him I was saving him $100 a week and the engine loved it! True story and still a Dello fan.

I ran one for two years,mounted on a Mac,Thermadin, carrier,back in the 70's.The one I ran had a Allis Chalmers,the engine blew,2 mo. Later it showed it up with a 292 chevy 6 on gas,they made it work with a 4-71 blower,for oil there is only one Delo 400 I have used it for years,even in my vehicles,.

My dad taught me how to run equipment. Very first thing I was taught to run was a old John Deere tractor. I’ve run a few loaders from Prentice to Barko and Tigercat. Enjoy seeing all the videos y’all make!

I work on a tug boat and we run rotella t4 in our Cummins engines and then we use delo 400 in our gear boxes and I like the delo better because like Wiley said the we don’t change the oil very often in our gear boxes and we run them hard and it seems to make things last and hold up better than the rotella does

My Uncle had a prentice 210c truck mounted log loader I ran for him a couple of years it took me a while to get used to the levers vs joysticks but once I figured it out it was a good loader

I use Schaeffer Oil and Fuel Treatment in my 2 Dodge Ram Cummins My fuel mileage has increased since I have started using it.

There was a discussion about oil. Think a lot of it is what you are used to using. Probably one might be a good as another but a lot depending on what are using the machines for. About it for now. I don't get into equipment but for my f350 I use either delo 400 or Mobil delvac. It either doesn't like Rotella or likes it too much because it eats it like a fat kid eats cake... Love your channel man!

Hey Hank :) & Wiley :) when you guys said Tiger Cat had Lol because there was a Transport Highway Master Tractor 18 wheeler from Whitby also boarder Oshawa Ontario east Toronto Ontario 25 miles my late Dad used work from 1960 to 1995 he owned his own truck for all years with them did All Canada, Alaska, USA never Mexico much lots miles did ! Did logging, heavy duty equipment, you name it all year around in A & B trains to box hauling trailers ! Funny part when growing up he takes me also 2 older separated times over summer season if want go trips with to and mom too ! He trucks all own were International remember seeing and funny part Tiger Cat was named after Taggart family ran company plus Tiger Cat was head Dispatch Secretary of Linda nickname on CB radio to and marriage to one son of owner company! The company merge with another and no longer in Business since November of 1996 and business in bought made in stripe mall and parking lots since plus got Veterans Legion in too on the property too ! But you Lol trucks also trailers use have Tiger Cat and name says 9 lives on too Lol plus yellow and black stripes too! Also Hank & Wiley great video also Happy Mother's Day on Sunday May 8 2022 too! For that peices of heavy duty equipment Hank never operate one on trailer ever but done lots more in backhoe , dozers, big and small hoe but no big Cat or Volvo or Caterpillar brand tractors with universal bodys plus 2 or 4 wheels drives yet !
