The first trailer for Logan has been released, and Hugh Jackman’s final performance as Wolverine looks like a real tear-jerker. Inspired loosely by the X-Men comic series Old Man Logan, this film will show an older, beaten down Logan in a future where mutants are all nearly gone. Erik Voss explains the meaning of the trailer’s song, Johnny Cash’s haunting cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Hurt,” and why it’s the perfect song choice for the dark themes of Logan. He also digs deep into the visuals and easter eggs of the trailer, predicting how X-23 Laura Kinney and Charles Xavier connect to the story. Who are the Reavers? Will Sinister appear in this film? almost posted the same. They do it so people can read it in there rear view mirrors. There is no point to have it not flipped when your looking at the back of the vehicle and the person driving kinda already knows what vehicle they are in.

I literally stopped watching further when he said that, and went straight to the comments to see if someone had called him out on it. Who doesn't know that about reverse letters on the front of so many police/emergency vehicles? Apparently him, and everyone who helped him put this together. I now don't care what else he has to say about anything.

I still want to see the yellow/brown suit in this. Even if it's only for the climax of the movie. Think about it, Logan is dying. Heck, he's already beat from the start of the movie. He could still have the suit from the deleted Wolverine ending(since the timelines are already screwed up), and use it to fight Mr. Sinister(or whoever the big bad is) at the end.

As I was on the film crew, we modified the "Policia Federal" shot. Originally, this was filmed as the trucks BACKED UP at high speed, but was later reversed in the edit to indicate the progression of the Wolverine story flash back mise en scene. We also pushed the post apocalyptic feel by having the police drive eight year old Dodge Chargers 11:54

yeah it can be confusing to sort through everything in all the movies, but in the end I don't think it really matters what happened in this reality or ones that are erased or whatever now, because this is all the payoff for having the X Men story focused on Wolverine since the very first movie. Wolverine as our hero has lived through everything we have seen in the movies, even the stuff that 'hasn't happened' now, it still happened to him. So we can just follow his story along without worrying about what is real or not because its all still real to him and everything he was a part of is still part of his story.

This movie is going to be the most heart wrenching and emotional super hero film ever released. Showing two great characters at their most vulnerable state. Having two of the strongest mutant characters being betrayed by their own bodies is heartbreaking. Be prepared to bring some kleenex.

I'm hoping not though. I like the idea of the classic riding off into the sunset thing minus the likely immediate death. He'll die soon no matter what because of the loss of his healing abilities, but I don't want it implied that an hour after the end he'll die of injuries. It's not just because I love the character. I mean, who'll look out for Laura? She's still quite young to not have anyone around to help her out even with her defenses.

Has anyone else got a problem with the fact that Logan is only set 8 years in the future? Logan is already well over 100 years old, but it only takes 8 years for his body to deteriorate?

Even seen cases of extremely elderly people (90+) that are A-OK, live on their own, do their own shopping and then they deteriorate quickly and die in a matter of days? (which I'd prefer, rather than go senile) Maybe they tried to use this as inspiration, but those "days" in a regular person could have been 5+ years in Logan's case.

The thing is Xavier never really wanted to use his powers, thats why he used the xmen... To him if he abused his power he would lose a reason to live.. He could have anything and do anything.

I think each character is unique with their own perks and own dark past. I prefer Gambit/Remy LeBeau. Although I always did have a biased towards Night Crawler as well.

The words on the vehicles are reversed so when a car looks in the rear vision mirror it is the right way around and can be read more easily.

Police cars "Police banner" on cars are normally reversed to be viewed easier through car mirrors. I doubt it's a editing trick

Baron Moises it's worse than X1 and 2, origins is really the worst one. X3 just is pretty anti climatic compared to what the first 2 seemed to set up. also smashing those 2 storylines together wasn't handled well.

The lettering on the vehicles is not reversed via film, it is intentional. It is done so the vehicles in front of police and ems can read it in their rear view mirrors.
