I loved the guitar cable-as-a-bus topic. It seems a little ridiculous to be describing what a guitar cable is for, but it's such a good way of understanding busses. Well done.

Finally, this just what I was looking for - a clear explanation of what was happening in the mixer when using software instruments. Great analogy of send/bus/aux with the guitar volume/lead/amp too. Thanks, Bob.

A good teacher must be able to put himself in the place of those who find learning hard.

this was so helpful - esp the explanation of how logic automatically creates auxes and how to isolate each drum to individual auxes from drummer track - thank you!
