Keep it simple! In this video I walk through the creation of a basic crime/tension underscore instrumental from scratch. Some drones, pads and simple piano melodic elements, and we are done. No need to overcomplicate things. Video features Native Instruments' Straylight, and Noire Piano.

Paul, thanks for taking the time to share your music and your process. Could you please share how you're getting your audio online. Is it a direct out from your audio i'face, or an open mic picking up your monitors?

I use Telestream Screenflow Pro to record these videos. When you record a video in this program you choose your audio inputs. I also do all of my editing in Screenflow Pro. * USB Blue Yeti mic for my voice * Audent iD24 DAW audio interface for computer and DAW audio * In the Logic Audio settings you select the Telestream audio driver as the input and output sources so that the video recording captures Logic directly.
