Now we can also sue these labels for their own copyright infringement of all other artists that they copy themself as well. Nobody is safe anymore now for bogus lawsuits.

The record labels want to control the Ai generated music. So they can saturate the market with their controlled lyrics and songs. They dont care about the people wanting to create music for themselves. Down with the record labels. Lastly, i won't believe anyone from here on out that says they created their own music without ai.

I'm a paid member. You can generate a 4min song with an extension of up to 2min.

I'm a paid member as well. Extending is possible, but usually you also need to tweak and edit lyric phrasing, or song form, etc. The tech will only get better, but it's not currenty generating truly accurate songs on the first try. They are still easily identifiable as AI-generated.

It's not clear to me whether the data which is called "the training data" constitutes the totality of data used to generate a track. Maybe some other data is "scraped" specific to the prompts ? It doesn't seem elegant or economical to copy literally everything before you need it. I'm just guessing, but I don't think they know either

Data is not based per prompt... AI does not go and search for a specific song based on the prompt. AI listens to thousands/millions of songs to identify differences in raw audio files. Data is tagged (this is a drum, this is rock and roll, this is classical piano) etc (massive oversimplificaiton on my part), and then the audio files are analyzed again. Humans play a large part in training AI tools. So, when someone says "50s rock and roll guitar, male singer" and pastes the lyrics to "Johnny B. Goode" in the lyrics field, the AI tool searches its database to identify wave files that are tagged appropriately. The odds of recreating an existing work are very slim and require a lot of effort.

There's no law regarding AI training input. Output is all that matters. And so far, there are no randomly generated songs that's the same as a copyrighted piece. No case here.

Teaching someone how to sing isn't illegal instead of a human its Implementing it into basically a fake human if you want to make it sound as simple as possible.

OK, Please actually read the lawsuit. They have note for note examples in the lawsuit folks, this isn't just a words. The evidence without even legal discovery is overwhelming. And the $150K is standard copyright violation fee.

I've read the lawsuit, see my recent videos walking through the examples listed in the suit. People prompting the tool and inserting copyrighted lyrics from pre-existing works is obvisously going to direct the tool to create somethign similar to the original work. What is the lawsuit about? It's not about recreating preexisitng works, its about whether or not it is legal to train AI tools on copyrighted material. The outputs don't matter, other than to show obvious examples of materal that sounds like other songs. In my opinion, "training" is entirely different than "output." Tools only do what their users ask them to do.

These old world industries need a shakeup. Unless they get a poker shoved at them nothing changes. Example, the taxi industry vs uber, etc - the taxi industry developed apps after these companies - bring it on. I remember my dad running a hotel in the 1970s and the record industry had undercovers going around checking for the music being played in the foyer etc. These greedy a--holes need to be ruffled up.

No its not the end of AI music ...or AI TECHS Its more over that THOSE BIG MUSIC CORPS want to gain FULL control over the AI music themselves!! So the reason for this so called LAW SUIT generated by those BIG MUSIC CORPS is only because of GREAD and fo them to gain even more control & MONEY for themselves!! Rick Beato also talks about this aspect in one of his new video blog update about why so called "new music" seemingly becomes even worse! AI techs tools related to music and music creation & creativity I do not fear,.. & every time some new techs comes along so many grab into the fear aspect ... .. ...as back in the days when drum machine came...then the same thing happen ...then all got in fear about the would be no more DRUM MUSICIANS and same when more advanced VSTs techs came..that the same happen as so many then stated that all musicians would end up vansihing and so on and so forth... JUNKIE XL former artist now full time FILM MUSIC PRODUCER COMPOSER ) has an input on this topic aswell related to the AI techs tools for music creation and creativity as he see it as something positive and not something negative and not something he approach with the fear mongering aspect like so many does!

The industry Sees money going next to their pockets . Artists see their chances shrink with all this overflow of new music. I pay for suno , im happy with it. Indeed to get a full decent song it needs work, sometimes a lot. I say go with the flow , Those "artists" should better jump on the ai train, instead of protesting. They just want you to listen to their songs, So they keep earning Just saying😂

I think bad music devalues artists. One could argue music tools in the wrong hands can devalue artists... people that lack actual musical skill are able to generate noise that they call music.
