Thanks for this! I just saw the Esinkin on Amazon when I headed there in search of a Bluetooth adapter like you showed in one of your videos from 5yrs ago (How To Make Any Vintage Receiver Bluetooth Compatible, or something like that). This helped me make my decision, so once again thanks! Looking forwards to being able to listen to your other vids through my Onkyo TX-3000.

Thanks for this. I just ordered a Esinken not knowing the difference. After I had purchased this I read some reviews and some reviews was saying logitech has better sound because Esinken has transmission problems ( I haven't had no problems with mine). Makes you wonder people will write untrue bad reviews about a product because they are probably working for logitech. Thanks again. No b.s. in your videos ✌

There is no difference (sound wise) between the two devices, and yes there is some very shady dealings going on behind the scenes between Amazon sellers. Another thing, fake YT reviewers! Some of these guys have never even had the devices in their own hands let alone actually hooking up the units and listening to them:) And BTW, I have been propositioned to do fake reviews for money by a few Amazon sellers. ( I told them to pound sand ) Really "grinds my gears" Thank you and Cheers.

Great video! UK Amazon has the logitech for £40. The esinkin is £27. I spent some time looking up reviews to see if there was any difference. Some reviewers who bought the logitech were claiming the esinkin had lower sound quality lol. I bought the esinkin!

Thanks, really helpful video. In Australia the difference in price is substantial. $29 for the Esinkin on Amazon, vs $59.99 at JB for the Logitech. I'm thinking the difference in price is mainly that Logitech is a better known brand.

The Logitech version is just a branded version. Common in the industry. You pay a little more for a little bit more packaging and a brand name. If you were to analyze the Bluetooth data, they may have different manufacturer ID information as well. But mechanically it's the same device made on the same assembly line.

Just paid 27eur for the asinkin while the logitech is 40eur, considered going with the logitech because I really wanted the black screw but in the end I went with the budget option, hopefully I don't regret it

Interesting. The circuit board is most likely made for both by the same company in China, probably the rest too. The Esinkin is probably the house brand for their clones.

Thanks for the review, so it is true that a lot of things out of china are manufactured in the same plant! I’ve just ordered one on Amazon which is 50% of the price of the Logitech!

Early '19, I bought the Logitech unit; think I payed about $22 for it ( had no idea that the other one existed). Currently, it's being used w/ an early-90's Sony ES receiver. Now, to my ears, it sounds decent, but I may look into one of the nicer units, that you've reviewed. Finally, my only gripe is that it'll only remember two pairings. So like, if I had already setup my phone & tablet, I need to re-pair it for my HTPC or Blu-ray deck.

The logitech sounds good, but once you listen to one of the bigger units like the BluMe, Zen Blue, BluDento you are going to hear a big difference. IMO. BTW... Thank you for watching my videos. Cheers

I imagine the only difference is in the prom where the BT ID is reported as Logitech or Esinkin (I have the Esinkin version).

I am looking for a bluetooth transmitter to connect to my vintage av receiver through the REC OUT using RCA to 3.5 mm jacks to hook up bluetooth headphones with AVRCP. I want to connect to the back of the receiver for aesthetic reasons. Ideally, I don't want a battery powered transmitter because I want to plug the 5v/1a adapter into the switched outlet provided by the receiver so the transmitter and receiver turn on/off together. I don't need anything more than Class 2 because I won't stray very far from my receiver (but it would work if Class 1 obviously). Do you have any recommendations for a bluetooth transmitter? Thanks :)

This Transmitter is one of my all time favorites, I still use this rig today and has held up very well. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rdpjktOWybnQonU.html To date... The rtx has been my transmitter of choice. I know there are now many units but they are battery powered toys IMHO, I hope this helps. Cheers

Turned out I didn't even need to open it up. All I had to do was poke something into the socket where the adapter cable plugs in, and bend the pin slightly to the side. Now it makes a good connection and stays powered on.

If your chair has a built in amplifier and AUX in then yes. Sorry I don't know anything about gaming chairs.

Unfortunately we can't tell from the video if that main chip is different, it looks different in the Esinkin, it has a big dot on it, but you don't say. I've noticed that the Esinkin is never advertised as supporting aptX but the Logitech is. If that's down to the chip being used, that alone explains the price difference.

For more info, I just found this about the CSR8630 in the Logitech: "aptX capability depends on the ROM mask, all capable devices support aptX but require specific PSkeys based on encryption to enable it. It is easier and cheaper just to get a device with aptX enabled." So in other words, even identical hardware doesn't mean identical performance in terms of bluetooth codecs, the manufacturer needs to have paid to enable aptX.

I wonder why I have to turn up the volume double what I use for my other inputs. Also when I disconnect the BT on esinkin it keeps pairing so I have to unplug it. Other than that it does work ok. Anyone know if they make a 30 pin to fire wire adapter?

These two devices do not have the standard 2V Pre Amp output, my rule of thumb is, if the device does not have RCA connections and only AUX (3.5mm) then the device has the lower output. I have a few videos demonstrating this issue.

Made in an OEM factory . Copyright infringement doesn't exist in China. So basically if you take something to a Chinese factory for manufacture ,they manufacture your product ,copy specs and design ,everything and rebadge it or sell the info on.

high school all over again: esinkin: "hey, logitech can i copy your homework?" logitech: "sure but make it different" esinkin literally stole the entire logitech device and just slapped their name on it and sold it at a lower price to outsell logitech on their own item using their same item
