The Logitech G602 has been my daily driver for five or six years. I thought of upgrading; it's that good in my opinion. Before the Logitech G602, I used a Razer gaming mouse that eventually started to fall apart (as in, started coming apart). The G602 is a great gaming mouse, a great mouse for detailed work in Adobe Photoshop, and it's just a great all around mouse.
2023 Update: The price for the Logitech G602 has gone up over the years. I wish it were still the price described in the video, but in my opinion it's worth even the modern day pricing due to how amazing the battery life is.

used it since it first came! about 2 months ago I replaced with a new g602 as the first was pretty much worn out, 7 more years before an upgrade :)

I had lost mine at my sister's place a couple years ago. Bought mine when it was near $80 back in the day. About 4 months ago, after using a crap 2 button mouse, crying a lot, I discovered they still make them! I went to Best Buy and picked one up for $30 ish. Love that thing. Literally yesterday, my sis's BF sends me a pic with ' Is this yours?' in the text...they found my mouse! So I will be picking it up tomorrow when I visit and have 2 of them now! Best mouse ever made! I have large hands and it has just the right weight, button count, feel. Good review and will use them for years to come! Great for gaming too; my primary use!

I’ve had this mouse for two years now and I love it. It is perfect for any type of game really but I use it mostly for FPS because it gives me those extra 4 buttons unlike usual FPS mice.

Thanks for the review. I just bought two from Hong Kong for $260AUD for the pair shipped because they are now so rare, My second G602 (after damaging my original 2013 vintage one by dropping it on a tile floor) had the middle click die. I bought a G604 and it's OK but still not as great/comfortable/natural feeling as the 602. I also bought a Razor Basilisk, an MX Master 3 and a G502 Lightspeed, all the while trying to upgrade from the G602, NONE of these were the upgrade I had hoped for and I returned the uncomfortable MX3 and Razor, held on to the slightly uncomfortable G502 as a back-up and future proof reserve. None were as comfortable as the 602. I am a pro photographer and spend many many hours at a time editing using my mouse, if it's not as good or better than the 602 then it's a big PITA. Anyway I recently bought some replacement switches for the middle click button and just soldered a new one in to repair my original G602, so I now have my repaired original and two brand spanking new ones and a bag of middle click switches. you could say I'm very happy :) Long live the G602... I don't see an issue spending a couple of hundred dollars on such a crucial part of my workflow equipment even if i did buy my first one new in 2013 for $60AUD, One photo shoot edit and it's more than paid for itself. The G502 Lightspeed was $250AUD and it's not a patch on the G602

I feel like I had for my g602 for years. I found a like new one online and got it for my wife's gaming rig 2 years ago. We both still love our g602. I keep wondering if there is any mouse thats even worth upgrading to anymore.

i have mine for 6 years now, the only issue ive had with it is the scroll wheel button not working, but binding the G6 (the nearest to your thumb) button to the middle click caused me to average 2000(no joke) tabs open in firefox because i use it all the time for opening links in a new tab.

@@MiketheMathMan I don't have the logitech software on my laptop so I can't check but my 602 wheel definitely clicks when I press left and right on it so are you sure ? Good on you for sharing that tip though, I didnt know they were still selling it, and 30$ at that !

just adding a few things to the review. while the mouse is able to save profiles, only normal mouse controls can be mapped, so for macros or media keys, the profile can only be save in the software. the performance button is a hardware switch so it cannot be changed to any other function other than to go from 250 to 500hz polling. it's not really listed so i had to search and play around with it to see what it was actually doing. and lastly, a major flaw for this mouse is that the side buttons have a horrible squared angle and (at for me at least) were noticeably uncomfortable. i ended up having to file them down so they would have a more ergonomic shape.

I bought three and still use them in 2022 -- just not really for gaming. The mouse is also perfect for work. Setup application specific buttons for browsers for next-tab, new tab, close-tab, and buttons within other applications for compile/run, or Word commands such as Save or cut-and-paste, etc. and you'd be surprised how many times you can keep your hand on the mouse and get things done. Six side buttons is about right. Not too small or two many you can't remember what they do, but enough you can really automate tasks.

Does anyone know if this mouse works on samsung phones... have been trying to connect is to my samsung note 8 for dex and nothing happens. It connects to my tv and wouldnt expect it needing special drivers but just a bit lost

Damn... I had this mouse for 2,5 year and had to send it back to the logitech cause it broke. They send me brend new replacement which has broke after 3 months of using it. Now i wonder what should i buy next. I really loved it for this time but i want to but sth wich has more buttons but all mmo mice are wired. Was thinking about changing to Logitech g600 but i am affraid of the annoing wire. I play mmo games but mainly need it for a 3d modleing in Blender. Any recommandation ? Thx

I think razer makes some decent wireless mice that may be good for mmo. They won't have as many buttons as the mice dedicated to that genre though. Been a while since I've researched them. Wish I could give you a more solid recommendation!

If someone uses rechargeable AAs, the con of having to replace batteries is not such a big deal. I think it's actually a big plus. Lithium-Ion Mice like the the 502x will one day become inoperable. While a mouse like the G600 series can go on forever until we don't need mice anymore to work with computers.

I think Logitech is missing an opportunity. They should really sell the same mouse with long lasting switches, especially the middle switch. Most comfortable mouse I ever used. I prefer this over the bulky MX Masters.

After learning that there was a major defect with the G602 mouse causing it to double click, I went back and tried to contact customer service. This has been one of the worst customer service experience I have ever gone through! The first representative sent me to an empty line where I waited for 30 minutes just to hit a voice mail (the voice mail never got back to me). I called back and got a different representative, who went through the testing phase to determine whether it was my computer. After going through all of these steps, the Customer service representative had me fill out a form, and told me they would review and likely replace the product rather than attempting to repair it like so many Sony products would do. At this point I thought I had actually arrived at a good position, but I kept receiving E-mails asking me to provide videos with different lengths of the mouse not working. Eventually I figured out a good compression app for videos, and sent them a video of me clicking 100 times. After all of this, wasting hours on the phone and proving that indeed my mouse had this common defect, as well as linking this video to them, I got a response that said they couldn't replace the product because it was out of their warranty. I had given them the serial number, which is what they used to deny my claim, at the very start of this process. To make it all even worse, they tried to offer me a 30% off coupon, as if owning a defective product would make me want to buy a new one! It's not even a very good coupon considering the original product purchased was defective! I do not plan on purchasing another Logitech mouse, and am frankly disgusted.

I'm watching this video as my G602 mouse died mid match of Dota 2 after having it for years and religiously replacing the batteries then realizing my stock hold of AA batteries is dry, and while every single device I own besides this mouse that isn't lithium ion charged uses AAA. Again, it's my fault for not hording more disposable AA batteries, but I want something better.

i think the price goes up and down. i got mine some months ago for i believe $24 on amazon. i've seen the same thing with the other logitech mice, they go up and down but usually come down to below $30 when on sale. just add to a list and see if it goes on sale in the future.

Its 2021 and this mouse now cost $120 before tax and shipping smfh..... What a joke. I currently own this mouse and I paid like $30 for it lol.... I guess its time to switch to a different mouse unfortunately, id feel like an asshole paying $120 for a computer mouse that doesn't give me super powers or somethin lol.

The G700 was so comfortable to use. Then they perverted with the garbage G700S and it's HORRIBLE software. I've owned 4 of those because they kept failing.
