Maybe the LA EA4 adapter was too expensive when this video was made. I picked up a used one for about $150. All the auto focus Minolta lenses from 1985 work perfectly with it on Sony cameras from the first NEX to the A7iii. But it is fun using vintage manual lenses on Sony cameras.

Thinkin about getting a M50 since my T6 isn't the best for videos. Also less difficult to export content than my IPhone, great review!!!

Thanks so much! I didn't have to do the drivers, but I did have to go into disc management to set up the new drive. This is also my first time working with m2 drives, so I was a bit frustrated when I turned on the PC and didn't see my new 2TB drive. Appreciate the insight :)

I have Minolta lenses,a 28mm f2.5 a 40 mm f2.8 a 50 mm macro I use to scan my negatives with and a tokina 135. My favorite vintage lens is the konika 35 to 70 plastic fantastic that is amazingly sharp I just used it last night to shoot a sunset over Mt Hood I also have a mirror f8 mirror lens I bought for $30 that works surprisingly well if you put on a tripod and nail the focus my camera is a Fuji xt20 I also shoot film with a Minolta xd 5 and a Mamiya C33

Seem to miss the main drawback: there is no auto focus with those cheap adapters and most Minolta AF lenses don’t have F stop control. So while the adapter can change the F stop it’s hard to know what it is changed to. If you spend a lot of money on a camera with fast auto focus, and lots of auto focus points, you really have to consider whether manual focusing (even with focus peaking) is what you want to do.

windows 11 also FAILS to detect the samsung 870 evo 4tb ssd sata and it FAILS to write disk when i tried to migrate my windows from an old ssd and their samsung softwares FAILS to work!!! i am beginning to think that dell and microsoft never supports any of the samsung ssd's!!! i have done countless formats and ALL failed!! the only time it pops up and useable is when i use the FREE mini partition wizard that really does work and i have used that software to transfer to a crucial ssd of 2 tb and i have the crucial drams of 2 x 8gb!! crucial is way better and smoother for me for internal use!!! but as for external, any other brands are better than samsung even for backup and restore😢😢

So simple and straight forward. Thanks! Use Samsung NVMe drives in a few pc's. Installed Samsung Magician, drivers, and just had s complete brain lapse on why the drive wasn't showing. 20 seconds later and I'm good to go.

Windows is still terrible for M.2, i have been using my Intel M.2 1TB for a year or two, now windows doesnt read it , saying windows blocks the driver, and my research says so far there is no work around. dont know why Windows is 10 years behind in m.2 technology.
