would this do well for gaming? I'm looking for a more quiet keyboard but "silent gaming keyboards" are way out of my budget (around £200+)

I would just recommend to get a mechanical

Yeah that is another option, but mechanicals have a very different aesthetic and are noisier to type on. Depends what you’re looking for!
