You failed to mention a key flaw to this product - the fact that you can't press just one button to switch BOTH keyboard and mouse to another device. This should be a no-brainer feature. No one switches the keyboard to a device and don't expect the mouse to follow as well.

Do you by any chance know of a model that does that?

@@ijlalmonawwar Hey, thanks for the answer. Do you know if to have this functionality of having both the keyboard and mouse switch together, does the flow software have to be installed on ALL devices? It's just that I plan to use this keyboard and mouse with a corporate desktop computer that I don't have administrative access to so wouldn't be able to install the software. I would still like to switch between all 3 devices using just a single button press on the keyboard without having to change the selection on the mouse also. Is this possible?

I've been reading reviews of the MK345 (I have two combos - one for each pc) and the MK 545. And after reading further I see that both of these models are experiencing the problems I've been having. Eg: dropping out with the only solution being the removal of the dongle for a few seconds and replacing it. The Logitech site is of no help. It doesn't inform me how to replace Microsoft 10 Pro's keyboard and mouse drivers with something better. My question: is the MK850 an improvement, or does it have the same problems as the other combos? Thank you.

Hi Salesberg, Thanks for such a well-explained review. I am trying to choose between Logitech Mx (Keys + master 3) and this MK850. My usage is mainly for coding. Unfortunately, the KB and Mice are not available in the display to try out at any of the stores here. The things that are holding me back from purchasing Mx are 1. Hefty price tag. 2. A question in mind, that whether is it worth the hype (as there are several marketing gimmicks as well nowadays) 3. The bulky size (and weight) of Mx master. 4. Is MK850 good enough for my use case So what are your thoughts on this which one shall I go for?
@CyberCatTechnologies3 жыл бұрын
I personally went the other direction. I use the MX Keys keyboard, and M720 mouse. The keyboard is excellent and I am totally used to it. Previously I used to us the MX master 2, but it was just too hefty for general purpose use, at least for me. The M720 hit the sweet spot..
@vikaskumarsinha11273 жыл бұрын
@@CyberCatTechnologies Thanks for the succinct and clear reply. Just one follow-up question, how is the feel of K850 compared to Mx keys? Is there much of a difference or K850 itself is good enough for the experience (similar to M720)?

Thanks for the great vid. I initially went for the budget M270 and maybe not so surprised with how cheap if felt and have now ordered this model to replace it. Which Logitech model would you recommend? I am not a gamer but I don't want it to feel too cheap and I suppose the question is which is the best mid to high range? The MK545?
@CyberCatTechnologies3 жыл бұрын
Your thought is in the right direction. The MK545 is indeed a mid range premium quality product. I have reviewed it separably - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fd6Rf9Bi05iUj6c.html Things to consider, between MK850 and MK545 the items that would possibly make a difference are: Bluetooth Connectivity, Multiple Device connectivity, M720 mouse is a better mouse. So spending a bit extra may be worth your while. However, if the above mentioned items are not all that important, by all means go for the MK545. The mouse is very good quality as well, and the keyboard is well made. If the included features are suitable for your use, quality is not going to be an issue. These are the affiliate links to the two products, using them helps fund this channel, while costing you nothing. Thanks. Logitech MK545 - amzn.to/3iCaAJH Logitech MK850 - amzn.to/2HRpCPa
@stephensinclair36833 жыл бұрын
@@CyberCatTechnologies thank you for your reply. Very helpful. On this basis I will consider the 545 as it's probably all I need. So long as the keyboard feels nice to type on and is good quality I do not really need the extra features for the money. From your review, the mouse also looks decent too. Like I say the 270 was exactly what I paid for. In the UK the comparative version is the MK540 and so o may go for this.
@CyberCatTechnologies3 жыл бұрын
The only recommendation I may advise, is if you have any local store that sells office supplies or something, where a 545 may be on display, you can try it out, see how it feels. The part where you say "feels nice to type on" is a subjective matter. And in the past I have been told both ways by random online folks, feels great - feels horrible. What can I say right. Quality and longevity and all that yes I have positive comments about it. Will you love it, I hope so, but I wish I knew you better to be able to tell, but how can I. As far as numbers go, when I tested the set, it was right quality for the money, from a reputed manufacturer in its segment, and a safe purchase in the long run.
@stephensinclair36833 жыл бұрын
@@CyberCatTechnologies Also the thing is that you will always get used to a keyboard even it is a cheap one and so after all this I am tempted to stick with the MK270 now as I do not need hyper productivity keyboard yet. I think I was sold by the glossy videos on here for the MX etc. I will check out your property site.

Yes, it is possible. The way to do it is this. Pair with computer 1 while leaving both keyboard and mouse in 1 (or a number of your choosing) - Then go to computer 2, select 2 on both keyboard and mouse and then pair. Thats it, when you are selecting one it will work with computer 1 and when you select 2... It may sound complicated in practice its really simple.

Let me put it this way. Backlit keyboards are a newish feature, if you take into account when I was born and for how long I have been using keyboards. In the 80s there were hardly any backlit keyboards, but there were great mechanical keyboards every where. Point being, we did fine without the glowing keycaps.
