Why oh why did they swap the middle button and mouse wheel press button operation around. I dont suppose there is a fix for this to swapmit back?

The 3S does not emit clicks at all (just precise muted crunch sound/feel).

I have only used a Chinese clone of MX Anywhere, and my problem with it was that the two buttons were where I grip a mouse with my thumb. My thumb would two buttons, which felt uncomfortable, and I could even mis-click them when I did not intend to. Am I the only person who has this kind of issue with MX Anywhere?

Does the MX 3S can connect with the unifying receiver of MX 2S? Unfortunately, i broke my 2S, im thinking if I should upgrade to 3S. Thanks for the detailed content!!

The v3 is not compatible with any unifying BT receiver, only with bolt receivers.

What is maximum DPI in Bluetooth mode? Can I customize it?

Quite expensive for a small mouse. I would purchase if it was $50. Is there a bigger version for larger hands?

For larger hands, Logitech Master 3s would be better.

Hi! Sadly this mouse only comes in one size, it's angled more towards the compact size for using anywhere you need it like on a remote meeting with your laptop for example 👍

In the U.S., Logitech has a program (in collaboration with a store called Best Buy) that encourages consumers to recycle their used accessories/peripherals. By trading-in (recycling) one's old device at one of the stores, one receives a 20% discount towards the purchase of a new Logitech device/accessory. Of the several Logitech mice [including the MX Master 3 (full-size)] I have regularly used, this is the most comfortable & most pleasant.

Got one 4 months ago. Who's idea was it to switch the middle mouse button with the scroll wheel button? The Device Driver is the lousiest I've had in 25 years. You need to reinitialize it at least 2x a day. No unified Connector included but the BT Connection wasn't stable at all, so I had to get a Bolt Receiver additionally to the quite expensive Mouse. If the Mouse itself wouldn't be one of the best on the Market I wouldn't bother with Logitech ever again. They are just getting too greedy & careless for my taste.

The dpi will not be higher than 10000 because it is laser type meaning it will eork on glass table

2:50 "Save desk space if you have a little room to work around" Actually, a better solution for little desk space is not a small mouse (which might be uncomfortable for some people), but to have a high sensitivity. So that you need to move a mouse less on the desk.

The downside is the company i work for have very strict software security policies and i am unable to install the Logitech software.

You can modify/remap the buttons of the mouse with the Logitech software downloaded/installed on your own personal computer. Mods to the device are saved on the device: saved functionalities persist through any number of connections with other computers (without Logitech software installed on any/all of the other computers).

Additionally, if you are not allowed to configure Bluetooth, you can get a Logi Bolt adapter, configure it on your personal computer (as mentioned by @s-code-b) and then use it with the mouse on the work computer

Hi, is it possible to configure the buton under the wheel as a middle buton like it was on the 2 version ? Instead of using it to change the scrolling style.

Wheel click is mapped to middle-button click (by default; remappable). The small button atop the mouse is mapped to toggle scroll-mode (also remappable).

@s-code-b the button behind the wheel is not remapable in x-mouse. Are you saying it can be done in logitech software? So it functions like the 2 and 2s?

I find the "recycled plastic" thing is a meaningless virtue-signalling, and I wish people don't fall for that. If Logitech REALLY cared about the environment, they could make the rubber surface replaceable and add a few spare ones in the package, as the rubber wears out if you use it for long time. Or they could make the mouse buttons hot-swappable and add a few extra switches, because the switches will malfunction in a few years, and most people throw the mouse away when that happens. Logitech's mice are not serviceable and even Logitech's employees tell users to buy new one if the warranty (1 or 2 years, I guess) is over. And they're trying to virtue-signal as if they cared about the environment by allegedly using recycled plastic, which I doubt is true because recycling plastic is hard and not really economically viable. Hypocrisy and scam.

The scroll-wheel on the latest MX mice are the best feeling/operating I have found. The Logitech Option+ software allows you to adjust the roughness (intensity) of the metered (notched) scroll. The mouse also has a free-wheeling mode, which has completely no notches in its scroll.

@@domantasbronusas I don't know whether the scroll wheel is uncomfortable as a middle button because I don't use the middle button. The scroll wheel's default click is set to the middle-button; the little top-button is set to toggle scroll-mode. That is not the most useful (or intuitive) setting for me. I reassigned the scroll-wheel to toggle scroll-mode; the little top-button I reassigned to panning-gestures. Toggling scroll-mode with a finger already on the scroll-wheel feels more intuitive to me. And, using the little top-button as a panning device is the best use I can get out of a button that sits on top (near center) of the mouse. I use that panning functionality as one would manipulate a touchscreen or a touchpad: to grab a page that is not wholly in view through a window and drag it in up/down/left/right directions. With such panning utility, I don't have to bother with horizontal scrolling. Whether the scroll-wheel is uncomfortable as a scroll-mode toggle, it feels natural.

Not sure what the S means, but the clicks on the 3S, as compared to the 2S, is definitely quieter. The 2S has clicks. The 3S does not emit clicks at all (just precise muted crunch).
