I had bought this for 12k way back in 2011. It has stayed with me ever since. The best part of it is it's loud thumping bass. While the issue is with the center speaker's vocals not very clear. Movie watching had been mixed as although the bass is exaggerated but the vocals aren't. Thought of changing the front center speaker and replace it with a better center speaker which has good vocal range. But eventually thought against it and bought a new sony sound bar ht40s. The new ht sounds much better than this. But my heart stays with this z906 as it had been with me for a long long time. Z906 now has issues with frequent break down. It can be serviced by local electronic shops who takes care of the usual electronic gadgets like fridge, TVs etc. My take on this is that it was good till the price increase and now at this moment it doesn't stand a chance against the latest Dolby sound bars.

Iska sound even Sony ka costly product vi nehi de sakta hai, i have this and this is awesome. Please use a voltage protector while using this.

Sorry to say this, but it was a wrong decision to spend a fortune and go for this speaker system. Many audio-conscious people who bought this had serious issues with the sound definition of the central speaker (main unit). Voice signals were not properly processed by this unit with the right resolution. If your home theatre audio does not reproduce dialogues of a film with clarity it is hardly of any use. * * * You should have opted for a Philips or Sony Home Theatre system if you so badly wanted such a system. They KNOW SOUND. That apart, even some of the new technology sound bars do the job admirably well, though, strictly speaking, they cannot be technicallycompared to 5.1 systems which come under a different class. * * * Logitech was an early bird and once an industry leader in the field of PC accessories of which they had the widest range. They introduced the earliest multimedia speakers which were basic ones. But they were never really speaker people. Today, they are hardly recognised in that arena and are more known for their range of PC mouses and keyboards.

We shall disregard the sturdy brown shipping carton of Flipkart for the moment. Peeping inside, we come across a different scenario. - First: The unit has not been packaged properly. LOGITECH's box being smaller than the outer shipping carton, there is empty space all around it which was not filled with buffer material to prevent its continuous movement in transit. Logitech's box must have done much hopping all the way and some INTERNAL mechanical damage to the several sub-units inside may have been caused. - Second: The unit shipped to you is clearly a RETURNED PIECE. It is evident from the frayed condition of Logitech's blue packaging box and its caving in at several places, AND THE SECURITY TAPE HAVING BEEN TAMPERED WITH AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS ALONG PERIPHERY OF THE BOX TOP. It has clearly seen several rounds of handling and transit and, most importantly, BEEN PREVIOUSLY OPENED BY ONE OR MORE PREVIOUS BUYER(S). YOURS IS NOT AN UNOPENED, BRAND NEW UNIT. Now, getting this issue resolved in whatever manner from Flipkart will be a Himalayan task. They have a notorious track record in Customer Service as compared to that of their arch rival Amazon. Except, perhaps, for mobile phones (for which some additional level of security is provided), it is quite risky to buy a high-value item on Flipkart - returns and complaints are not encouraged.
