Thanks for the clarification, I have just placed an order for Yamaha YHT 1840. Let's see as reviews are good and this is an AV system where we can still buy other speakers and passive as well as active subwoofers. Hi Vineet, Could you recommend a soundbar in the range of 12k that can give cinematic/dolby/surround sound upto some extent like a theatre? May be anything from (boAt AAVANTE BAR 2000 , Zebronics Zeb-JUKEBAR 9000 PRO Dolby, Zoook Rocker Studio One) or your choice.

Nice review Vineet ...one point u missed is on the life of these ..yamaha outshines all on that second with yamaha one can easily change any speaker if that goes bad or one wants to enhance the experience. Like adding a floor standing full range speaker will enhance the music output a lot

That's right, I use Yamaha. This system is very flexible to change speakers and active subwoofer. Sound clarity is very premium.

I need your advise, currently I'm using Yamha 5.1 which was purchased around 10 years back but now AR is getting turned off instantly once it is on, hence planing to buy new one in around 30k, which one you would recommend. My living room is of 220 sq ft and looking for better surround experience.. Kindly suggest.

Sony HTRT3 3 YEAR OLD MODEL AND BLUETOOTH 4.0 AND sony Ht-S20R is laletst 2020 version and BLUETOOTH 5.1 but don't know bass qualities..

After waiting for Yamaha 1840 home theatre, I went with Sony IV300. It is loud system. Bass is way high with maximum volume of 33. Overall fine system. If now I had a chance to replace then I would have gone with the Z906. It is all in one old school rock solid system. Sony isn't bad but for overall comparison logitech Z906 seems a better option..

@@spartaan2232 there's a mode called sound field under audio setting. Also you can increase individual speaker's volume. That will help a bit in clarity.

In my tv have a optical output and Logitech Z906 have two SPDIF input, I want to know that can I connect through a optical cable with tv to Z906? Are these port same? When am play some dolby content movie from my dolby supported tv through pen drive or from Netflix directly then plese tell me that the sound system (Z906) output get in dolby and it’s surrounding effect fill is great? Logitech Z 906, THX approved, pure 500 RMS with Signal to noise ratio: >93.5 dB, typical 100. Input impedance: 8,000 ohms. None are compared to Z906 class. I love the sound the BASS awesome its ground shaking, room shaking whatever I just love to watch the movies and play games. Kindly don't watch movies from youtube to judge the sound system as youtube movies are stereo. Use Netflix then you will see the difference clearly the pure 5.1 channel Dolby Digital DTS. Use optical cable for THE BEST sound effects.

Hi Vineet, I was having Sony Home thater DAV DZ-270 since last 14 years, now that has become defective displaying 'Power Protector On'. Even Sony service centre says spare part to rectify the same is not available. If you want to attach it with your PC then buy Logitech, and if with TV then Sony. Bass is almost same in both, but Sony has an upper hand here. You can even control the Bass in its settings 😊

Can you please suggest me the best 5.1 home theater with maximum bass I would prefer sony the most and my budget is around 16k. I wanted the iv300 but I think it's discontinued now and I also need hdr 10 and hdr 10 plus video as I will be connecting it to my frame 2020 TV via hdmi earc. Also when you say that the hdr formats are not supported do you mean to say the are not supported only on Blu-ray through a bluray player or is is that it won't support it even on prime Netflix KZfaq and via a pen drive connected tbrough the one connect box?

If we are connecting all our video inputs (Play station, DTH, PC,etc.) to TV's HDMI and then using TV's ARC port, connecting it to amp's ARC, should this resolve the problem of amp not having Dolby vision/HDR and other Dolby format video format as my TV will be supporting all those? I am specifically asking Sony IV 300.

I have old Sony home theatre system dav-dz270. it has no HDMI input. Can it be updated/modified to get HDMI input as I was satisfied with its 5.1 sound via DVD. Or suggest some good avr in which the same old speaker of Sony davdz270 can be used. Is this old speaker is outdated and will not produce good sound with new AVRs. I want to enjoy sound via nexflix.

Hey Vineet, you already know my needs. So should I go with Yamaha or buy a little bit high end av reciever and speakers with bluetooth and wifi support. Which would be a better choice I am going to use it in a room a bit smaller than medium size filled with furniture and stuff. BTW excellent video you are proving yourself in everyway. Hopefully you managed to make me skipping one tip for you part in my comment as their is no suggestion needed and hopefully you will continue this legacy, keep rising my friend 😊😊

Sir I am fan of your videos, I frequently wath those. while your videos really convinced me the fun of Home Theatre and Soundbar... I was thinking of buying a Home theatre at the budget of 30K and I could see YAMAHA YHT-1840 as best surround HT in that category in your videos... but I have Marq 55" TV (Without ARC Port, but have Optical and Folby Digital) though I frequently use Laptop as input to TV... I really do not intend to use Android apps on TV will continue to use Laptop, so was thinking of using that as input to YHT1840 and use HDMI OUT to TV in addition to that I have Creative 5.1 xfi sound blaster soundcard for my laptop too(as an option having 5.1 and Optiocal Out) and a Blapunkt Soundbar SBWL-01 Dolby Digital 200w but I really was dying to get good surround sound 5.1 or so is not having ARC still a major concern to stop me from buying that? my biggest attraction is Movies with surround sound (say 5.1 though not atmos) can you plese suggest if Yamaha YHT 1840 is the bet for me?

I have a Sony HT IV 300, it supports practically all popular video formats such as MKV, MP4, AVCHD and many more. 4k formats aren't supported, but it will upscale full HD content to 4K resolutions if you connect it to a 4K TV. The most common audio standards available are Dolby Digital Pro Logic II and DTS Neo 6 for Cinema and Music. The overpower bass can be reduced by lowering the dB output of the sub in speaker setup settings. The mid range and chanel Seperation gets enhanced through Sony Proprietary Clear Audio+ mode. So far i am loving it.... The only thing it lacks is an equalizer. But still i am happy with just the sound modes.

Vineet ji, mere paas edifier DA5000 Pro hai ye mene 5 years pehle liya tha or ab bhi sahi chal raha hai to kya mujhe dolby digital quality ke liye new system lena chahiye ya nahi, ya isi me kuch tweaks karke achieve kar sakte hai, please answer.
