In a wide-ranging interview with Network18 Group Editor-in-Chief Rahul Joshi, Union home minister Amit Shah spoke about BJP's resolve of '400 paar' in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. He also bashed out at the opposition over the EVM tampering charges and took a dig at the Congress over its election manifesto while accusing the party of promoting personal laws and politics of appeasement.

Rahul, while Amit Shah may be speaking from some internal ground reports, remember, he has fallen flat before. Two notable examples come to mind: 1. Gujarat election of 2017, he was boasting of huge win, but BJP barely scraped through with 99 seats, 2. Karnataka election of last year, once again he was confident of 130+, but ended with paltry 66. I hope be is on the mark this time

you need 2/3 rd for major reforms and constitutional amendments.BJP needs 398 to get a 2/3 rd in the Joint session of Parliament (LS + RS). If they get 398+ then it opens up doors to make constitutional amendments with a joint session of parliament.
