Hindus will never weaponise themselves but we are awakening. There were a lot of things that we didn’t like in the direction bjp was going. Eg taking in corrupt people especially in Maharashtra. Also the development in UP has been breathtaking but has also upset a lot of people. Ie. Not enough compensation etc. Maybe in a democracy you can’t go this fast in a democratic country.

Modi did not lose vote share. Bjp's vote share was still around 38%. BJP lost seats because the opposition formed an alliance.

BJP lost 30 seats in UP and another 30 seats in Bengal/Mahrashtra , that is all ! Islamic Congress has no MP in 12 States and a single MP in 6 States meaning more than HALF of India Islamic Congress has 6 MPs. 92% of muslims voted for non BJP parties in UP , Bengal.

The Hindus _do_ believe Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma) is a tolerant religion and accepts all philosophies, as also the true minorities in the country. It is only the second largest majority that does not realise and believe this.

I have always maintained, since the last Karnataka elections that it is Kharge's doing. If he had been nominated the PM candidate of the alliance before the elections, as Mamta and Kejriwal had suggested, I'm sure we would have seen _him_ in Modi's place now.
