According to an American insider, he discovered what the end of the MCU Multiverse Saga will be like, which will be divided into 3 films: 1 Spider-Man New Home - Peter is living a new life, at the same time he has to work as a food delivery man , he studies at a University and does Spider-Man "things". At university he reconnects with MJ and becomes friends with Eddie Brock. Peter joins Daredevil to investigate a wave of murders in NY, what Parker doesn't realize is that the enemy is closer than he imagines. The most evil variant of Kang (The Beyonder), meets with Scarlet Witch, Doctor Doom, Cassandra Nova, Vulture and Mordo and talks about his plans to build Battleworld. 2 Avengers Secret Wars Chapter One - Scarlet Witch, Doctor Doom, Cassandra Nova, Vulture and Mordo are on a gigantic ship and destroy a Shield base in Space, Nick Fury dies. Strange is sentenced by the Living Court to live for eternity in a Dark Dimension for having caused a small incursion in Universe 616 (in the No Way Home). The ship arrives in NY destroying everything, Thor, Banner, Peter, Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, Daredevil, Sam, Moon Knight and Layla El-Faouly team up to fight their enemies. Wong and Clea help Strange escape to help them defeat the enemies. Kang (The Beyonder), kills the Living Tribunal. Wong, Clea and Strange join the other Marvel heroes in a battle in NY against their enemies and their army of robots, they lose, Thor, Carol Danvers and Sam die, and Battleworld is created by Kang (The Beyonder). 3 Avengers: Secret Wars Chapter Two - Loki recruits Marvel heroes from the Sony, Fox and MCU Universes (some variants), they unite to defeat enemies and their robot army in Battleworld. They succeed after Strange's sacrifice, but are unable to prevent a major incursion into the Multiverse caused by the creation of Battleworld. Reed Richards convinces "One Above All" to build a new 616 Universe, and he takes the few survivors of the old Multiverse there. (A soft reboot of the MCU happens after this).

One of the best things about the show. Loki’s chemistry with Sylvie is also a close second. Who knew Owen Wilson would be such a good fit with the god of mischief. Hunter B-15 and OB are also becoming awesome. This show is one of my favourite Marvel Productions.

The part about future loki getting pruned. I think this would happen in episode 5 or 6. Loki pruning himself to fix the flow or something like that.

Absolute banger of an episode. This was really needed. We haven’t had a good tv show episode since. Moonknight.. but this is honestly one of the best episodes theyve but out of a marvel tv show. Such a great concept everyones acting was on point really really good cgi better than quantumania if we are honest. So so so excited for this show and hoping to see some Deadpool Easter eggs

My favorite part was Loki saying to Mobius that he met the man at the end of time and he made sense. There’s something so philosophical about this show. Felt like a finale, but it was the first episode. Incredible!

One Easter Egg I didn't hear you mention: O.B. basically got his nickname from Loki in the past, of what Loki learned in the future. This creating a bit of a "chicken or the egg" situation, which conveniently fit with Ouroboros with no beginning or no end.

If you look, Loki isn’t pruned by Sylvie. You can see the tip of the wand, meaning he was pruned from behind. If he was princes from the front (where the elevator was and so was Sylvie), you would see the butt end of the wand. I think he was princes by either Mobius (because something happens during the season and pruning Loki is the only way to save the timeline) or maybe General Dox. Sylvie is saying “there you are” to whoever is behind Loki, pruning him. This will create the whole “Ouroborus” effect by the timeline “eating itself” creating a cycle of time.

Totally agree. Think he prunes himself. Future Loki and and Future Silvi go to the TVA together and lose each other. She sees him as she leaves the elevator and he realised he needs to prune his past self. Phew!

Charlie I think you missed one major detail with loki meeting Sylvie in this episode. He’s facing her while she’s opening the elevator. But he’s hit with the timestick in his BACK. 12:50 You can see the tip of the timestick when he starts phasing away. My theory is that someone in the future hits him with the time stick. Maybe even himself?

Zartan first appeared in issue #24 of the Marvel Comics series. He was fully introduced in : A Real American Hero #25 (July 1984). Zartan can imitate anyone he wishes to an exact physical and vocal likeness. This was when G.I. Joe was published by Marvel Comics.

Zartan was a master of disguise from GI Joe as you say. However, the alien race of Xartans were introduced in Journey Into Mystery #90 and the were shape changers like the Skrulls. I'd say it more likely refers to them since that's a Thor book.

This might be far fetched…but think that OB is the only one who hasn’t gotten his memory wiped before? He is presently remembering what Loki in the past is saying, but neither mobius or anyone else remembers their encounters with Loki in the past. Also mobius doesn’t remember meeting him ever. This would make sense because OB built everything that keeps the tva going and they can’t just wipe his memory! Also probably why he is kept in the deepest basement where no one ever visits him :/

This episode was pretty fast paced but Wow!! I enjoyed it a lot! It was pretty cool to learn more about the TVA and to meet OB! He’s a pretty fun and interesting character! I thought the part was really cool when the episode was going back and forth from the past to the present! This episode was hell of a start for season 2!! I’m so excited to see more of season 2!!

When Loki gets hit by the time stick it was from the back, when you rewatch the clip you can see the orange dots from the top of the stick as if it was coming from his back through his chest. My theory it was Renslayer trying to take out Sylvie and took out loki first before extracting revenge against sylvie because she killed he who remains. When you cue back to the recording, it was Kang talking to Renslayer praising her for going back or accepting the mission of going back and capturing young Sylvie and attempting to stop the he who remains assassination. Also, I think OB is the real creative brains behind Kangs tech. Yes Kang is very smart but I believe most of his guidance comes from OB. which is why he's left in the basement, he doesnt want OB to realize the damage his tech is actually causing to everything.

1. Yes, there is a character named Zartan in Marvel Comics. He is a villain from the G.I. Joe franchise, and he first appeared in Marvel Comics' G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #24 in July 1984. Zartan is a master of disguise, and he can imitate anyone he wishes to an exact physical and vocal likeness. He is also a skilled martial artist and archer. Zartan is the leader of the Dreadnoks, a biker gang that is allied with Cobra or there is Zarathos is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is usually depicted in stories featuring the character known as the Ghost Rider. Slvie ( Future ) isnt the one who pruned Loki ( present) in the future, the weapon ( what ever it is i dont remember the name), was coming from the back of loki ( present ) also she is holding the elevator door open and she didnt have any thing in her hand. I think it is Loki / Mobius ( future ) is the one who pruned Loki present

Great episode and breakdown of it. I do have a question though. I feel like the MCU did not follow the rules they established regarding time travel. If Loki was talking with OB and Mobius, then timeslips to the past and meets with past OB, then their discussion updates OB in the future that Loki just came from. But wouldn't Loki going to the past create a new branch and that future OB would be updated not the OB that he just came from? They had been very clear about setting this standard throughout the MCU, you cant update the present by going in the past. I know time is all wonky right now and the TVA has special rules, but we know they are in chaos with branching within the TVA because weve seen this due to Loki's time slipping. So this should mean the rules that changing the past cause branching now apply to the TVA but in the scene with past and present OB the rules were not followed. Right?

My guess right now is that OB one of the first people kang reunited, and he perpetually the TVA's infinitely repeating ,and expanding cycle of pruning i dont think hes evil though ,and i wouldnt be surprised to see him recruited to the heroes sides oppose kang in earnsst by the end of the season.

The way this episode started and ended told me how amazing its gonna be. My theory is that the phone ringing is loki in the future(later in the season) trying to warn himself of being pruned to help him temporarily but not in the long run. I also wonder how slyphie is actually there. What happens in the future!! I need to know! Excited for the rest of the season

Not per say a reference to that, but related to the handbook, in Agents of S.H.I.EL.D., there also was a handbook that no one ever read. yet when Skye (quake's name at that time) can onboard, she actually read it and was able to save themselves because of the knowledge acquire in said handbook. (here's me hoping we finally get back the agents in the MCU!)

We don't actually know who pruned Loki. Loki was looking at Sylvie prying open the elevator doors when he was pruned from behind. Unless there was another Sylvie behind him, he was pruned by someone else. Also, the happiest place on Earth is Disney World (or maybe Disneyland), not McDonalds. Though I can't say for certain Mcdonald's never used that slogan, I don't remember it (and I was born in the 60s).

The Episode was awesome! So happy it's back! I don't think Sylvie is a Loki at all. Plus - a strange GoT style romance doesn't really seem like a Disney thing to do. Correct me if i'm wrong, but has Sylvie shown any other Loki-like powers, other than enchantment throughout the entirety of the Loki series? I think she's actually Sylvie Lushton - who (in the comics) also happens to be from Broxton, OK. I predict that Loki is actually the culprit who's behind Sylvie and her Enchantress-like persona. The McDonald's Sylvie we saw could actually be a variant of Sylvie. In the comics (Dark Reign: Young Avengers) Sylvie is granted powers by the actual female Loki (Loki within Lady Sif's body - which seems like more than just a convenient coincidence to me and possibly why Sif was placed in season 1, episode 4, along with female Loki's backstory), takes on the name Enchantress and believes she's actually from Asgard; though in the MCU series, she has only faint memories of Asgard - also convenient. However, Sylvie's not even the real Enchantress either. Furthermore - in the series, her enchanting powers don't even work on Loki. At the-end-of-the-day Loki is the god of mischief, it's forever in his nature to be a trickster, therefore Sylvie being a creation a of Loki seems very fitting for the series. Like Loki says, "she's a pawn", "I liked the idea of creating a mortal who suspects she's one of my kind. She's infinitely susceptible to dashed hopes. Hence, mischief".

I don't think Silvia pruned him because he got pruned from the back. Not the front. I'm thinking it was General Dox, her pet or even Renslayer herself. This episode was great.

I went and watched the scene again Right before it ends you can see the lights from the timestick where Loki's chest was, meaning the person had to be behind him (@ about 9:10 left in the episode)

Another Loki (from the future) could be there with Sylvie, we just don't see him through the narrow gap in the elevator door. And when Sylvie said "Here you are!" she was actually talking to him, not to "our Loki". (Meaning - hey, here's your younger self!)

Sylvia didn’t prune him - he was pruned from behind. You can see the pruning want lit up coming through his chest from the back. Likely it will as either Mobius since he’s in the future or another version of himself

MCU is back with this series. Loki continues to be my favorite MCU show because it just delivers. This episode was SO good. Can't wait for the rest of it.

There seems to be something weird going on with Ouroboros's memory. Loki met him both in the present and in the past. And in the present OB started remembering their encounter from the past. But that should be impossible because sometime between those two encounters everyone in the TVA had their mind wiped. So OB's memory of meeting Loki in the past should have been wiped as well.

This is a trope in several time travel stories like Lost and Quantum Leap, where memory would cause a grandfather paradox, it undergoes a swiss cheese effect. Alternatively, it creates a slightly disconnected causal loop.

A couple of Easter eggs I think I spotted, very random, but Loki jumping off the balcony onto a passing truck seemed to be like Anakin Skywalker doing that in Star Wars, also maybe a reference to Fifth Element, and the truck he landed in reminded me of Thunderbird 4, it even had a 4 on the side of it and was yellow.

This was FANTASTIC!!!! Felt like a season finale. I do have a question, that logo are we sure that’s not God Emperor Dr. Dooms? That made me think of him instantly. His mask looks much closer than He who remains. I know he had been rumored to be in the MCU cause of the fantastic4 and Kang. I mean in Secret Wars with battleworl didn’t he manage it with Kang, Sargent Strange and Thor Crops? It just reminded me of him and I could waaay off but just a thought.

I suspect it was actually future Loki who pruned the past one. Bootstrap paradox. Sylvie was in front of him and didn’t seem to have the time stick in her hand. I think the person who pruned him was standing behind him.

Loki (from the future) and Sylvie could be actually opening the elevator door together. When Sylvie opens the door, she says "Here you are!" and we think she's talking to the Loki we see. But she may be talking to the other Loki who's standing next to her, we just don't see him through the narrow gap in the door.

I did manage to get my hands on the Loki sauce. The lid of the sauce had a code on it so if you took a pic of it with snapchat you got some videos of Miss Minutes explaining different things about the TVA. For example jobs are assigned to variants at the TVA based on results of a test they take. There was also another video about time-loops.

I didn't get the sauce but I do remember wearing a dark blue variant of the uniform at Mcdonalds for about maybe a month before they changed it to polo shirts and black pants that breathed and were a blend not all polyester. The badges are a throwback too I never got one for the grill they never let me do grill they kept putting me in the drive through

Always enjoy watching the Emergency Awesome Video after a watch the episode, even my wife is involved in this routine now. Lol But I wanted to mention that it does not seem like Sylvie pruned our Loki, you can see the prune device hit Loki from his back while Sylvie was in front of him. Someone else must have pruned Loki at that moment, I feel we are missing a lot of information from that interaction that we will learn more about later in the series.

i think The Zartan Contingent was written by Ouroboros in his former life, before he helped build the TVA. a wider shot shows a Dr. something as the author. possibly the published piece of work that drew Kang's attention to him. Ke Huy Quan's name is also right there next to it in the credits.

My theory is that He Who Remains has tried to get a few sylvies to take over for him. This tracks with my thoery on her Nexus event. All Loki's always assume themselves the villain. as a young girl, she thought she could potentially be a hero for the first time. General Dox is a Loki/Sylvie variant who went to He Who Remains alone. In Season 1, I think Loki accidentally reversed psychologied her into being convinced of her vengeance. In the past, Dox/Sylvie, who visits He Who Remains by herself, realizes that the Devil is the best option and offers to work at the TVA. I think her memory has never been wiped. She has her theories that this variant of her actually went through with it and wants to find her to confirm it. And maybe to ask if it was worth it. She likely feels self hatred all of these eons for not commiting to her revenge. Thats why she so mean. A little bit more. This might give He Who Remains too much credit but its possible he realized that in order to get his existence overwith, he needed a foil to sylvie, someone to doubt her which would in turn solidify her certainty.

What a great opener for the season! Theory re General Dox: Given her relationship with Hunter X5, could she be housing the Zaniac entity? And could the "Zartan Contingency" be the title of a Zaniac film or comic book? As ever, I love the aesthetic of this show. Love the music and the closing titles, love how they wrote memories updating in "real time", all of that. Everyone is awesome in this!

Truly what an episode two Loki season two I absolutely Mr. chemistry between Mobius in Loki. I think it was a really good start to how Loki season 1 left off on. Lots of council of Kang stuff is going to be building to this but man what a what a great episode.

The loom weaves all the branched timelines they allow into the one rope of sacred timeline(s) and when Loki is pruned he is pulled out of time to go to void planet but the extractor pulls him out while he's in transit and freed from whatever timeline he was in at that time and drawn into the space where the loom is.
