Y’all Dr. Strange knows about the TVA. Think about, the only way he could know that there was one path they could take that would work in presumably a multiverse of possibility is if he knows that the TVA will only allow for the sacred time line to happen. He knows that any other path they take would just be pruned by the time keepers, so he’s forced to go to play his part in the sacred time line. My question, why hasn’t he told anyone??

This would be a weird turn because in the comics Loki is Hela's father and the MCU has Hela and Loki as siblings, but now a version of them has Hela being Loki's (Sylvie) mother.

To everyone confused as to where are the variants coming from if there is only the sacred timeline: The sacred timeline is not just one timeline, it's different timelines and universes rolled into one streamline of time. The timekeepers keep the flow of time from branching out into different nexus events to prevent a multiversal catastrophe or a multiversal war.

Ohhhh so the other timelines were basically other branched out timelines and the one “sacred timeline” is all of the branched out timelines streamed into one?? So technically that blue streak is not just one sacred timeline, it still should be multiple timelines...I get it.... They really mind effed me on that one. Question - so when the TVA travels through time, can they be traveling to different timelines as well?

There is one thing that's bothering me about the existence of variants. If there is a single timeline, that should mean that there is a single reality. With a single reality, there is only one narrative because all timeline branches are "pruned". There isn't room for alternate versions of beings. At best, a variant could only be slightly different than the prime timeline version. The only plausible scenario where vastly different versions of people makes sense is that the TVA was created many years in the future and they are working backwards to prune unwanted variants.

Exactly! My explanation for this was always, that there are still infinite different timelines - the TVA is just trying to contain them by destroying every variant. But while they can stop certain timelines, they cant change the very nature of the multiverse. Thus, different timelines still exist, the TVA just has them kinda under control for the time being

the main thing how did even strange saw so many outcomes , cause future will be the same for that timeline atleast and time stone would help him see the future that is ACTUALLY gonna happen , so him seeing so many outcomes doesnt make sense .

@@adityagupta5601 I think it does make sense. Strange uses the time stone which only works in his reality. The TVA operate outside of reality so there is no way for him to know TVA exists or Kang etc. Also time stone only allows him to see up to his own death (according to Ancient One). So he saw many outcomes (different timelines before they would be pruned by TVA) each one ended in disaster for avengers but the one which didn't was the one TVA wanted to happen I.e. sacred timeline, in which they all come back. So makes alot of sense that TVA operate without Strange's knowledge.

I think the sacred timeline is a bunch of parallel timelines that are somewhat similar but also very different at the same time, thats why there are variants.

If the TVA are really what they tell Loki they are, then this wouldn’t be possible tho. They would’ve pruned the branch before hela even did anything, because the holy timestream is the one with Loki

But this can't work, because we've seen them "prune" events much smaller to preserve their one sacred timeline. The idea that they'd allow an entire timeline to thrive in which Odin is killed and Hela goes on to rule Asgard, that's definitely a multiverse right there.
