If this exists, I can’t believe it wasn’t released before KZfaq came along. In the early 2000s, everything was downloaded off Napster and other services. Music, porn, videos. “lol superman” is EXACTLY the kind of file name a jumper video would have. Edgy and callous was the thing in those file sharing days. People would put ridiculous music behind a jumper montage with “Let The Bodies Hit the Floor” or “It’s Raining Men”. In those days, there was so much footage of the jumpers (not landing, but seeing them jump and/or fall). My friends and I were in college, on high speed internet for the first time, and we devoured that kind of shit. We were HS seniors when the towers fell, and the jumpers especially was stuff we watched and discussed. Like many, they were the purest expression of the horror. In fact, a friend and I have discussed through the years that there HAD to be ground level footage…but we never saw it, nor did any of our crowd. Don’t recall even hearing about ground-level footage, or we would have gone nuts trying to find it. If it exists, I’m guessing it was one of several “jumper vids” that a site like Ogrish or steakandcheese hosted, and was either copyright attacked or was just lost when the gore site in question shut down.

You think that the original wasn't that thing I watched at school where a camera followed people falling into a blood cloud and paste? A version was uploaded on KZfaq of the plaza footage and it wasn't even called "lol superman" it was something like 911 2001 "camera filename". And there was a part 2 that I actually saw it had the camera operator leaving plaza following firefighters and they turn left and run down non-functional escalators.

@@geopardodabalsa i mean, i hate theories, especially about 9/11 but Jack (i think) was the only known person that recorded plaza from a ground level if im not mistaken, and if you saw his footage you could see him recording plaza both from the eastern side of south tower (wtc 4) and from near of the wtc 7 (between wtc 6 and 5) - which is the exact place where lol superman video starts, either way he already had to go through that route next to north tower. there is no way he didnt record anything like lol superman, people were jumping on the plaza like every 20 seconds

0:11 Man, seriously, I thought this part of the video with this part of the song had a PERFECT combination, since the first time I watched this video I thought it had this song, but I later refuted this since this song doesn't play in the video (it's not the first time I've watched your videos) and although some details are not accurate, it was very well done Why do I say that about the part of the video with the song? This is because although She's Always a Woman, Windless and How Deep is your Love are beautifully calm and peaceful songs, in my worldview they have a melancholic feel that seems to match the tragedy, as this mentioned excerpt plays showing a scene of destruction and death, in Taliercio's video it shows the Towers in flames, which when it plays during the fire, I seem to not believe that the fire was caused by planes and imagine that many died there (for a moment I cried imagining all this) and also in Windless when a guy who is well known for being "the guy who went down the South Tower" when a somewhat melancholic and strange piece plays when he tries to go down and almost falls, until How Deep is your Love plays when he finally falls I don't know if many think this way, but these songs seemed to give a feeling of loneliness, witnessing death and destruction, I remember that when I heard Windless for the first time I cried a little, and when I listen to She's Always a Woman I seem to be in a dark place as if whether it was a hallway or a closed place with no one around, it played a bit hissy and had a very strange sound quality...

I actually remember seeing this (or maybe another) video, it was taken from another building besides the plaza and you could see the bodies going through the roof of another construction below and some of them exploding when hitting the ground.

The video you talk of was shot from a hotel across the street about 30 or 40 floors above street level. The victims fell through the awning of the plaza stage. You can catch a glimpse of that stage in this video @0:10 Also, in the video you mention, you only see those poor souls fall through the stage awning, but not seen actually hit the ground under or around it. However, you can clearly see other victims who had already previously landed nearby (torn clothing/red splatter marks 😢) but not their actual impact itself thankfully. Lol Superman is proported to be the only footage that does show a body impact (if you believe it even exists), though there is one video of somebody hitting a streetlamp but shot from a long distance away so its difficult to make out much detail. RIP to all those who perished on this dreadful day.

There was a lot of stuff on KZfaq in its early days on 9/11 that has since has been deleted and gone missing. Not an insane amount though. The audio in this video is from the Jack Taliercio footage, parts of which I did in fact see back in the old days (portions of the Taliercio tape were in a 2002 NIST video which you could watch on KZfaq, the full tape was only released much later iirc) "LOL superman" probably existed but I didn't see it on YT back in the day. It wasn't even called that. Doesn't mean it wasn't real. Because parts of the Taliercio tape were already out there (with the infamous plaza music) people back in 2007 already said there existed footage of people clearly hitting the ground with "the music from that video" e.g. the NIST video with parts of the Taliercio tape. It had supposedly been deleted because it was too fucking real shit even for wild west youtube standards. I never saw it but a lot of people claim they did and I believe them. Mostly because I clearly remember old 9/11 videos that have been lost to time. Some of them have in fact resurfaced in the last few years. I think it's perfectly reasonable to assume that the footage actually exists but is just locked away somewhere because of its gruesome and heavily charged nature. One day we might see it.

@@EspirituDeSilentio I distinctly remember this one tape from around the base of the towers, on the exterior side of the towers (not the plaza). More chaotic stuff, but no real gore. It was shot by a random guy that has firemen telling him to get out of there. Some body parts here and there, but they werent clearly visible. There have since been a few releases from around the base of the towers but the one I remember still hasn't surfaced. That one really stuck with me. Other things.. its been decades and its a bit blurry. A lot of stuff is out there. There are some excellent channels on youtube now.

On some Documentary where the footage was a stabilized version. 2 Guys walk into the plaza, and a third guy is already standing near the plaza. They meet up in the plaza and point upwards at the smoke or damage on the North Tower.

But the original did. I had seen it from a documentary. And when it came time to show the footage. It showed a blinking footage with 15-ish time skips of a camera operator following a man into the plaza between two black buildings being World Trade Center 5 and World Trade Center 6. Way in the front you can see a man already in the plaza he turned around at up while halfway through. All 3 guys met in the start or the end of the World Trade Center 6. They later move near the corner of World Trade Center 5 to get a better view. Based on the angle changes on the stabilized footage from the documentary.

I had always seen the thumbnail to this footage on KZfaq but never clicked on it because it didn't interest me because I had already seen the footage of the towers being hit. I only ever clicked on the second footage rip. Called "911 2001 (part 2)" or something. And it had the camera operator following firefighters into the north towers who are all arguing if it was a fire or a plane. And they walk left to get inside. And run down some non-working escalators.
