Today I’m sharing my first ever repaint of a LOL Surprise OMG Doll. She’s super cute and heavily inspired by decora fashion and anime style - super out of my usual comfort zone! I gave her a little back story of a School girl lost on a trip to space, let me know what you think of her!

The change in the eye shape makes all of the diferente! I LOVE the faceup you did. I wish the originals looked like yours. Regarding the other one, I would love to see a colorful interpretation of a fairytale.

Same! I've always found the original eyes kinda off-putting with how low on the face they are and how big/round they are. Having them higher with a more defined shape makes the doll look actually really cute!

I love how this doll is very obviously decora-inspired without being generic bright pink. The cowprint outfit is super cute, I could see at least one of my friends wearing something like this irl! You could continue with the j-fashion theme from this doll and bring in more fairytale vibes by going for something like mori kei?

I'm not a huge fan of decora but I can still appreciate how cute this doll is. I really like the way you did her eyes, it's such a fun take on them. Another lovely doll 😊

I love seeing you venture into cute and colorful and your style is so so adaptable to all styles it’s so cool to see it in this form! I’m so glad I got to collab with you again so soon and I’m sure there will be more coming! Great great job and all the tiny details are amazing! Honestly I love this style but I think it'd be cool to see a fairytale theme mixed with all the cute and vivid colors. Kinda like what Ever After High did with their characters

sewing the pieces together before cutting them out for the teddy bear backpack was genius!! that way you know its all lined up already!

I forgot you were Australian until I heard the pronunciation of "decora kei". I mean this in a very kind way- accents just pop out on odd words sometimes, and it's cute. That aside, I really love how you sanded down and redrew the eyes. I think it suits the doll far more than the molding did.

When you first showed her face after you used the dremel I was like oooh crap and then you showed it after wet sanding and it was perfect again. You are magic!

She’s stunning ..I love her eyes.They look so much prettier and less saucer like than the original ones.Her hair is pretty too with all the flowers and bits in it.I love her outfit and her accessories finish her off beautifully .They do look much better repainted 🥰

Genius idea sanding down the eye sculpt! Also brave to step out of your comfort zone-but you absolutely nailed it! If you wanted to stick with sort of the same aesthetic for the other doll, a cute companion to this one would be a gingerbread house theme. And perfect for the holidays :)

I won't lie, as a South African his accent throws me off each time! I always need to confirm that he's Australian and not South African! At times he sounds exactly like us! 😅 And this doesn't happen with anyone else!

So happy to see people getting into customising all the OMG's ! I've done about 40 now, and never thought of using a dremel or sanding away the moulding before....I love the overall look and this girl is amazing!

Very Cyndi Lauper, my dear. Your final gamble on her hair went extraordinarily well, and her eyes are first rate. For a moment there I couldn’t be sure whether it were to be a doll with a bear backpack or a bear with a doll backpack, but you succeeded in fine fashion.

Fun! Tough to decide what to do with the other lol doll, I love anything you do, your style is fabulous. I like your idea of the fairy tale doll though, I personally prefer the darker side of characters over cutsie, but that’s just me Gorgeous faceup!!! Love her eyes so much!!! This is sooo cute. I am looking to get into doll customs and I think I will finally have the opportunity to do so next month... I found this while looking for LOL doll customs and this is so inspiring. She's such a cutie and I love the concept of an anime schoolgirl who got lost on a field trip to space !
