Welcome to the London Diaries, as we head into London to have a tour around one of Londons more Luxury food and department stores since 1707; Fortnum & Mason
🇬🇧 After Travelling to London, I decide to head out to the Luxurious District of London, Say hello to the King at Buckingham Palace, then spend the evening trying afternoon tea, sipping cocktails and doing shopping at Fortnum and Masons!

A tip from someone who has dabbled in making fancy handmade soaps: If you slice off small pieces with a cheese slicer and wrap them in tissue paper, you can put them in your closet and in your dresser drawers to keep your clothes smelling like that. Also, as someone who loves the look of botanical gardens but is always miserable around plants due to terrible allergies, I love watching videos of people exploring gardens, so I would definitely watch a video if you made one.

Love Fortnum and mason pricey but worth it for a treat ! I’m off to London myself in July ! I’m planning a trip to Battersea power station as it’s been renovated ! Then I think a picnic in one of the parks followed by an afternoon of culture at the V&A !

Super excited when going to Wal mart today they had hobnobs and PG Tips!!!!! And just made a brew and it’s amazing!!!!! I’m in Toronto so these findings are rare ❤ thanks for the recommendation on the tea!

I was gifted an afternoon tea in the jubilee lounge for Christmas recently and OMG what a lovely experience that was! The staff were all so lovely (not snobby or rude) and the food/drinks were INCREDIBLE and I even took a little 'doggy bag' home with me of the left overs as they were so generous with the food it was more than we could manage. I think it was fairly expensive but I would certainly go again for a very special treat (big birthday, for example) Love your videos, thanks for sharing!

That place was totally amazing for interesting English tableware and gifts. I absolutely loved the Alice in Wonderland themed tea set with the card and Alice decorations all over the china. I'm looking forward to someday checking out the area where you visited for the video.

Oh you have convinced me to visit now. I love posh tastings and tidbits. Sharmeleon put me onto Yorkshire tea Malty but I adore Earl Grey. And actually that garlic was an amazing price for the size, only $18AUD a kilo, usually $35AUD here standard

Love this vlog. My student job while doing my masters was at Fortnums and I worked in the loose leaf Tea department. Have to Say I’ll Only drink their Albion blend now. Nothing better than that for me. Thanks for a great vlog. Loved it x

Kew Gardens is one of my favourite spots in London! You should most definitely go there on a beautiful spring day, the Richmond area is already worth a visit but Kew Gardens is simply the best! When I go there I bring a big blanket and picnic foods and take my time admiring the beauty around. They also have a big cafe area and a posh restaurant but picnics there are the best.

i love this type of video! During covid I watched a UK disney vlogger go to this store early Christmas and it was so beautiful! I went on their site and ordered a tin of shortbread cookies as a treat since we werent really getting out and doing anything. Postage to the States was crazy, but it was fun to get! The cookies were okay. Kinda like your opinion of the stuff you had in your video. I still have the tin. It's really pretty! Have a great week, Catherine!

Twinings, Jam on Top, my grandmother always had a bar of English Lavendar soap by Yardley in the bathroom just sitting in a pretty bowl. YES to Kew gardens. Cozyvlogs are awesome

My favorite tea is genmaicha, or green tea with roasted rice. For black tea, I fell in love with Barry’s Gold on a train to Wales. Never enjoyed black tea before (grew up & live in Northern California) so it was a revelation, and it’s what I stick with now. So smooth, delicious.

Awww, love this Catherine. My grandparents when they were alive had a flat in Leicester Square so my grandma loved to shop in fortums all the time. She would always have amazing treats from there at Christmas and things like hand soaps. It was totally lost on all us kids though😂🥰, for all we knew she could have shopped at Tesco's🤣! Fortnums always brings back memories of her so thank you for this😍♥️xx

I think I must be doing my scones wrong, cos some people say cream first (to act as butter) then jam. But I have always had butter, jam and cream on mine, so it goes butter, jam, cream. 😂

My absolute favourite tea is Dorset Tea. Close runner-up is Thompson’s Tea. Loved seeing your trip to F&M. We have one of the large Camelia wicker picnic hampers and absolutely love to use it when we get chance.

Hey Catherine 🤗 I love packing videos so please share this if you did end up filming one. 100% visit Kew Gardens, I’ve not been but I’ve heard it is fab - they do some kind of light thing there near Christmas 😊 I love MacKenzie-Childs products, I had 3 of their canisters which I used for tea, coffee and sugar when I lived in my flat 😊 I need to catch up on your Canada diaries 🩷 xxx

Twinings Fruit tea for me. I can't have tea as it makes me puke. Ovaltine or Hotchoclate is a good morning drink especially for the school run. 😊 its Sunday its good day for Pjs. ☺️👍
