Anne continues to take over :/ I missed when Victoria had Only Amey and Waterloo had Old Celia. It felt like it had their own identities

All of the South western railway stations have the same voices now, the one for Roger I think has been sped up a bit, I think it’s to increase clarity for those that might not be able to understand what being said.

Would recommend Guildford at 12:00 on Sunday, as you also get the one-a-week XC out of peak times, along with the rest. The bridge is a good place to get announcements, as you don't need a ticket to access it.

Oh? Do you record announcements at Guildford or other stations on the network then? Maybe you can give Tom some more suggestions and ideas, see if he likes it and take it into account.

What is the configuration after Anne took over Waterloo, still one announcement per train or two? Because I see there's two versions: "The train at Platform X" and "Platform X for the". Also how many minutes before departure did the announcement come?

Trains are announced 5 and/or 2 minutes before departure time

That makes senses for hearing 2 versions, but with Anne announcing as slow as New Celia here at Waterloo, I wonder of she'll ever be able to pause during rush hours, when Phil and Celia are still in Waterloo, with one announcement per train during rush hours, sometimes they didn't stop announcing trains for 5 minutes. So I really want to know what would happen during rush hours in the afternoon. Maybe they will make Anne do one announcement per train during rush hours like KGX.

Anne in general isn't crap. Anne like in Victoria or Paddington sounds not bad. But Waterloo's (Swr's variant) is bad

Woking has Anne and Rodger announcements now. Also, I notice she only announced the train to Addlestone to discourage people from taking that train to Weybridge instead of a faster one.

Greater Anglia and London North Western Railway stations now use AI. So there is some variation still.

Anne now does Bournemouth (For years Phil Sayer) and Christchurch (For years Celia) I don't like Anne...I prefer Celia and Phil. :( Sad times.

Why are these Anne announcements so shit? Honestly, I'm not a great fan of Anne to start with, but she's alright at stations like London Paddington. Don't really mind her there at all to be honest. Roger or "Rodger" also sounds crap on the SWR network. Honestly, why??? Again, I much prefer Phil, but he's alright on the GWR network, so what did they do to make both Anne and Rodger even more fake sounding??

I don’t think they do sound fake now, one of the voices has just been slowed down a tiny bit and the other sped up a bit. I have noticed that as well as Waterloo, all of the other SWR stations have these voices now.

Awful choice, First adding the defult voice of anne is a sham. At least Phil and Celia gave south western its own identity
