In his final Royal Festival Hall performance as Principal Conductor, Vladimir Jurowski conducts a full-length concert performance of the iconic ballet score. Here’s a peek into rehearsals for the opening of Act II 🦢

I read that he wrote the whole of the Swan Lake score in 3 weeks.... one of the great masterpieces of music in its own right: strangely enough the music stands as a work of genius on its own, without the ballet, for which it was written, taking place.
